[Resolved]  TVS Motor Company (Bike) — Repair (Under Warranty)

Dear concern,

I owner of TVS Apache Motor bike (Reg No. HR51 AA7173 & Mod Jan 08). I face some problem in handle. Handle jam when we use disk break and use short turn it not work smoothly. I visited 4 time in Tayal Tvs Services Centre (Add-neelam bata road Faridabad-121101, Haryana, India) for same problem but they are not able sort out this problem.

There is Person Mr. Raghav and Mr Ram has checked my bike problem they told bike is ok but this is still not ok. I have send mail to company regarding this on 30/09/2008 and then make a call to TVS company here is person Mr. Sandeep (emp id-4052), he told me visit to services centre they will serve you better. Then again i visited on 06/10/2008 they worked on my (Handle) problem but now after 15 days same problem incurred again then they again worked on (19/10/08) it but still they are not able to sort out this problem.

Now a new problem incurred front wheel make little noise while driving. I think disk is interly teching some where. Services Centre people not provide satisfactory answer why this problem incuured and all the time they do oiling instead of change part.

I think if they change hole part of handle, problem will be sort out. Pls help me in this regard to sort out same.

Sorry to tell this, but i'm having the worst service ever, at your mathikere store(FAST BIKES TVS). i own a apache rtr 160 bought on feb 8th. out of all the service, none were good. my complaints are not being honored. bike is really good but the service sucks!
i have a pulsar as well, (which happens to be of my own bro) the service of pulsar is 1000 times better than the service that i get from you guys(FAST BIKES APACHE)! REMEMBER The service providers will never be differentiated from the company, so when the service is bad, it means to say that you guys are losing the brand name and in the process valuable customers!
My complaint is; they have not even LUBRICATED THE CHAIN OF MY BIKE! this happened now as, my bike was still having some sound i took it to a mechanic near by BECAUSE the showroom is closed today., i was shocked to see my bike which was serviced less than 13 hours ago, had large crystals of mud in it! (behind the mud guard, below the seat, behind the saree guard, behind the name plate) the normal mechanics say us by showing us that the showroom guys have just water washed (and even that s not proper) and have done nothing! please give me your mail id and i shall send you the scanned bill along with my bike pics. pls revert back.

I have purchased a TVS Sport Motorcycle from Kumhrar Automobile, Bajrangpuri, Patna 800 007 on 15/07/2011. On 29/08/2011 when I started motorcycle I found some different type voice from engine as in regular way. Immediately I went to Kumhrar Automobile, Service centre, Bajrangpuri, Patna 800 007 with motorcycle. I made complaint about fault in motorcycle to the staff where a mechanic checked the motorcycle and found there is a problem in "Chamber Magnet". Service Centre Manager asked me to leave the motorcycle only for two days for sort out the problem. I left the motorcycle at service centre on 29/08/2011. but my motorcycle not repaired uptill now. Sevice Center Manager told me that "Chamber Magnet" is not available in market. I made complaint to the Area Office, Patna through telephone where registered my Complaint No. 24 dt. 13/09/2011. After that I made Complaint to the TVS Company through Internet and I received a message on mobile Complain No. 6959 dt. 20/09/2011. In spite of my motorcycle has not been repair or replace in warranty period uptill now. I am not satisfied TVS Company staff behavier. TVS Wego scooter rate — Performance & service

Purchased the vehicle in May2011.
In July, the speedometer failed. The dealer did not hv the spare part available to repair. It took more than one month.
In Oct, the fuel tank started leaking. The tank found faulty & the dealer is still responding with meaningless excuses like waiting for the tank from Chennai & bla..bla..
The service is very poor. I hv similar feed-backs from other Wego owners. Vehicle not washed during servicing, starting trouble, etc.
I have purchased my TVS Scooty in the year May 2009, Recently (14.11.11) i have given my scooty for servicing at Narbheram Motors Pvt. Ltd. Jamshedpur, I was facing problem of Indicator and horn after servicing these problems were solved and from next day again there is some problem with self strat, when i have complaint the same at service center they told me to change the battery when i told before servicing it was perfectly ok then they told me there is some problem with rear brake thats why it is not taking self start, I am not able to understand before servicing it was ok after servicing iam facing more problem.

We are going to authorised service center for better and reliable service if this is the case then better to go outside for servicing where i have to pay one forth of service charge.
Request you to kindly look into the matter.

Dear sir,
I purchased TVS jive in 17/9/ 2010.After 6 months of purchase rust spots were observed on kick, silencer, guard and handle. The kick was replaced by the dealer.White spots are observed on the black alloy wheels which were checked by the engineer from TVS. He had taken the photograph of the same. Several time i have visited the dealer but he is not able to provide any solution of the problem.
What is to be done?
Will i never purchase TVS vehicle in future/suggest others also not to purchase it/i will get the solution of the problem in the consumer forum.

my bike engine work was done on 3 dec 2011 and it is giving a lot of problems, , lots of parts were chnaged, but are not working properly.
SMOKE PISTON AND CRANKSHAFT ASSAY WAS CHANGED.THEY told me a small estimate and when the final bill was given it was around 9000 rs..following were the problems after engine work done:-
1)engine gets very hot after running 2 km only.
2)there is lot of noise from weight tensioner and during pic up
3)the vehicle is very heavy to ride
4) after 50 km/hr the bike starts to make a lot of noise and vibration.
5)black smoke also emitted.
6)bike consumes a lot of engine oil.

i only requested to change the smoke piston but around 26 ITeMS were changed.i never expected to get a bill of 9000 rs..after spending 9000 rs it gives a lot of problem thenm what is the point in doing engine work..my engine work was done at 39097km and now it has run only 43000 km, , in 3000 km only the bike has shown so much problems, , so i want a reply from your customer care department..and i m going to give it for a revaluation on 30 april in sai baba tvs pune for the last time……After engine work done, , I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN IT FOR 4 TIMES FOR REVALUATION FOR PROBLEMS BUT IT HAS NOT SHOWN THE RESULTS.pls refer back as soon as possible otherwise I would have no choice but to refer to consumer court..waiting for your reply.

I own TVS Scooty pep+ when run for 15 kms the vehicle does not move but the engine is not off, it is in working condition, this is a frequent problem and it is very unsafe to be on roads, I visited and consulted with show room persons no one has the answer, once the servic is over they tell there will be no problem, but the same problem is still there till this day, i hope the manufacturers and the mechanics and the research team are not concerned with any problems as the vehicle is launcehd and sales rate is also high, will there be a solution for this AS DRIVING IN THIS STATE FOR A LADY IT IS TOO DANGEROUS, PLEASE SUGGEST A GOOD SERVICE ENGINEER WHO CAN SORT THIS ISSUE,
I own a TVS pep, Regn No: OR 02 BT 1561. I had registered a compalint with your Customer care on May 23rd and i got a confirmatory message of the same on May 25th that the complaint has been registered vide no: 14173. It was also quoted that i will be contacted by a Company representative within 24 hrs.Well I guess that 24 hrs has not yet passed as per the working hours of TVS company.

Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

I have purchased TVS Sport 100cc Bike Through CSD on[protected]. 1.At that time even now there is a offer of twin watches of Timex, was not given to me saying that on purchase through CSD it is not given whereas any supporting orders are not available.
2.I purchased the Electric start bike in place of kick start by paying the difference of charges, but the bill has been given of kick start amount even the amount of Rs.2975 charged is more.
3.Rs.650 was charged for leg Guard & Sari Guard which is included with the bike if not Bill for this amount was not given even after lot of arguments again saying that in case of csd i can not give bill other than that amount paid to CSD
4. For Registration of vehicle it was charged Rs.2900/= which is more than 7% the cost of the vehicle costwhich is more than the cost of vehicle

I am Chandrasekaran Chennai owner of TVS Wego Reg No.TN 09 BJ 9651 purchased by me June 2011. During the year 2012 MarchApril 2012 I have faced self starting problem in my vehicle. So I consulted my regular service Centre PRABHA TVS Ashok Nagar Chennai. They have checked and informed me your vehicle battery is manufacturing fault and it can replaced in your Warrenty period, and contact us within two days. After two days I went to my dealer for delivery, and informed me your battery has replaced by the Battery manufacture and hence you can take delivery. So I have taken my vehicle.4to 5 months has left last week again I got the same self starting problem, immediately I have sent for service and checkup. Yesterday 29.8.2012 I went to the dealer for taking delivery of my vehicle they have informed your battery is not usable and you have replace it immediately. I told them I given my vehicle for replace the battery just 4 months only left, and how it has happend. So you are not changed my replace(new) battery, simply you told battery is changed. So I understood they have cheated by me. Informed this to them. OK you change new battery with chargeable basis, and i will take this compliant to TVS company for clarification. After that they told me you come and meet us tomorrow 30.8.2012. Now I am going to meet PRABHA TVS dealer today evening around 6.00PM for taking of my vehicle. If they charge any amount for battery I will not accept and take up the matter with TVS Motor Co for further action. Hence I request TVS Motor Co, please check up your all dealers and save your valuable customers.

i think if the change battery .problem will be sort out.plase help me in this regard to sort out

Im from hyderabad, on[protected]Dealer : **MDH Racing, Banjarahills**), i got my new tvs apache abs, from showroom..upto evening that bike is good. But while i was in traffic my bike engine was stopped suddenly..and i've tried about 30 mins to start .but no use..after 20 mins of walk along with my apache 180, i'd reached home..and called to those people ..after longtime they were responded and send technician..for that time problem was solved.next day bike was given to complete checkup, technicians saying that everything is ok..after two days fuel is goingon dropping from over pipe, its about 1 litre continuously  ...those people are very irresponsible in giving the service. im returning my bike to showroom today itself..i never want to get back to tvs again ..ofcource it is a good product but not in service and customercare..just try yourself so that you can understand ..
I am a owner of TVS flame, bought in 2008. The company discontinued with the model after selling thousands of bikes
Now the resale is zero as even their own dealers do not wish to exchange the bike, howsoever good condition it is


Suggest please do not buy any TVS two wheeler as the company has no empathy towards the customer
