Godrej Locking Solutions — Installation technician demanding money

When we purchased Godrej Lock, we were told that the installation would be done free of cost. I called the customer service toll free and got a reference number 653576. Technician called me within 2 days and informed me that he would charge Rs.200 for the visit. I would've otherwise paid this amount as tip, but the very fact he was demanding money for what was supposed to be a free installation irked me. I then called up the Customer Service team and spoke to a rep. He promised a call back in 20 minutes. Not to my surprise, i didn't get a call back. I called again after 4 hours. This time i spoke to someone named Adnan Syed. He promised to investigate and call me back. He called back in 5 mins just to inform me that my residence is outside city limits, and i have to pay at-least Rs.100. Sounded like poor bargaining. He was just getting Godrej down when he said that. My house is exactly 1.5 kms from Panvel Railway Station. Even requested Adnan to check using Google Maps. He chose to believe the cheat technician and kept the phone down. I wrote an email to Mr.Shyam Motwani (Executive Vice President & Business Head at Godrej & Boyce) thrice. But didn't get a single acknowledgement till now. This is not how we treat a customer in our Organization.
