On 26th May-09 I had filed a TDR as the train was late more than three hours and the amount of the ticket was Rs 1985.00.But the amount which is acutally refunded on 28th Aug-09 is only Rs.980.00.
I do not understand why the less amount has been refunded.

The Ticket PNR number[protected] for Train No 2296 for journey dated 22nd May from Patna to Bangalore was booked through IRCTC in TATKAL QUOTA. The status while booking was W/L 30.
The TTE from Patna while checking informed that the ticket was not confirmed and he made a separate ticket with fine.
Later I found out that the Ticket was confirmed as BE 1/ 25.
So I have paid twice for the same...
