[Resolved]  Irctc — Food Complaint

Respected Sir, When I was travelling in Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express trains, I found the food served thier was disgusting.Many of passengers were busy in vommiting and suffered from loose motion i.e., patli potty. Kindly improve the quality of your food. Thank You

Cockroach and bees found in meal .Pantry manager did not agree to provide complain book and threaten that if you complain I will throw you from running train.

We have travelled four members in veraval express on 14-08-17from trivendrum to kasaragod. Our PNR No. is [protected]. My son ordered for food through FOOD ON TRACK app, selected ERNAKULAM place to serve food to our coach, and paid for the food ordered. Recieved many messages from IRCTC to serve food in time on to the coach. We didn't order for other food. Ernakulam came with no delay. But food is not served to our seat. Those ###### didn't send any message after that. We travelled without food. You take this matter as serious and give justice to us. Awaiting for your earluest reply. I condemned your service. Why you are cheating us. If not, you could have informed earlier that we are not supplying today. Call me soon. That ######## hotel number is also not given to us. Reply soon

Me alongwith with family on our return journey from Tirupati in Train No. 07115 - Hyderabad - Kochuveli Exp on 17th June, had bought Egg Biriyani in Train and found priting on the boiled egg. We thrown away the entire food and slept starved.

I am travelling by Rajdhani train number 12309. Date of journey is 9th July. It is 9.20 pm and the dinner is not being served to me. I have requested for Continental Non-veg . I am being told that I can sleep and they will wake me up to serve the meal.

Further to my complaint above, at 9.40pm the serving person came and brought me only boiled vegetables and macaroni saying 5hat only thus much us remaining. I have paid fully for my meal and am not here to eat bacha hua food. I would like to get my refund against the food I paid
In spite of not serving me dinner in train number 12309 travelling on 9th July from Patna in B3, the pantry staff came asking for tips. Photo attached

Dear Sir, I am travelling in T.No 22686 Chandigarh Yeshvantpur Samprak Kranti Express. PNR [protected]. Left Chandigarh on 10/7/18.
Breakfast Upma- Vada ( 2nos) is sold at Rs 44
When I insisted Upma-Vada is of Rs 30 they gave me Upma with 1Vada.

What is suprising is their rate card is not same as IRCTC online rate card.

Their rate card shows

Upma at Rs 22
And 2 nos of Vada at 22
So the breakfast Upma vada is Rs 44.
This is cheating please look into the matter and do the needful

I am a passenger travelling in Kolkata Rajadhani (12302) on 29july 2018. My PNR: [protected]. I would like to bring your focus towards the Food items served in this train. Chicken which was served in dinner was poor. If this type of food is served to the passengers then it may cause food poisoning to the passenger. As the price charged for food is Rs240 and if this type of food is served then it may cost passengers more than Rs1000 in their treatment. Also everyone knows that Kolkata Rajdhani Exp. is best premium train in India but now it will go to hell due to IRCTC bad services. Today Food chart aren't maintain, Food quality is poor, More item aren't given as per Schedule. As being a large organisation i think you will improve the quality of food served in 12302 and will not let down the name of big organisation.
I glad to know that you will take an neccessary Action to recover that.

Traveling to Delhi from Gaya to New Delhi from Bhubaneswar Rajdhani 22823 PNR [protected]. Expired bread is being served in the breakfast. Bread pack is having an expiry date of 27th while today is 28th September.

Dear Team, I am Travelling in Dibrugarh Rajdhani and my PNR is [protected]. Some points which is badly effected of Indian railways are as below:-
1. Low quality of food, worst then road side thela food.
2. Quantity is very low.

Please find where to find such food, the icecream packaged by Amul just like geld like made by the pentry guys.

Overall the food was a very big disappointment.
Please don't serve this type of food, the thela food is much better then this food..

On 11.4.2019 I was travelling in Howrah Jodhpur Exp Train No.12307 Coach No.S-1 Seat No.1At Agra . Being Mera Food Choice Pvt Ltd. Is an authorized partner of IRCTC E-catering services, I ordered @ 12.06 by SMS for lunch at Agra and I have been delivered a very worst meals, even road side meals would be much better. Moreover the meals was bought from the station itself at Rs.80/- and collected for the same at Rs.180/- for such worst meals. Why this type of cheating the passangers by Mera Food Choice Pvt Ltd. All passengers are requested/alerted to think many more time before wasting Rs.180/- for the meals the quality of which is only to throw away and to travel without meals even after spending Rs.180/=. I don’t think neither IRCTC Nor Mera Food Choise Pvt Ltd. Will bother to mend their cheating attitude to the passengers.
I was traveling on 9/05/2019 in Gujarat Express Train number 22954 form Ahmedabad to Palghar Seat number C2-60. I had booked a lunch on IRCTC book meal aap on Surat Station from Crysttal Palace Hotel Order ID is 11157126. The delivery boy came on the last movement when my train is already start and left the half of the platform. The delivery boy handover me the whole bag and tell here is your order sir. As I was ready with money in my hand 520/- and waiting on the door.I paid the full bill of 520/- for two lunch.As the train has been already started I was not able to check my order on the door of the train. Hence when I reached to my seat and open the lunch pack, I received only 1 lunch meal.while I had paid for the 2 lunch meals.As I was traveling with my family. Total we are 6 members & there wasn't even pentrey car ( Food Availability ) in my train. My kids suffered a lot after this incident.I had complained about this incident to the hotel person. He apologized me for his mistake and promise me to return the money on Paytm. As the day passed this person didn't send me my money back. And every day I called him 5-10 times.They literally don't care about my calls and made me fool. Today on 22/05/2019 I received my money after 13 days. It was very poor service I suffered a lot. I wish IRCTC should band such hotels for their unresponsive nature.

I had complained on IRCTC portal through mail but still didn't solve my issue. I received a mail with complained " Your Order no 11157126 is redressed" with feedback ID 11188768.

We are travelling from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to Delhi on Jammu Mail train dated 28th July Coach no. B3 seat no. 41 to 46 .
We ordered food from irctc pantry and to our surprise they charged us 130 for each veg thali. We still took the food as don't had any other option but the food was pathetic.

Later we checked the price online and on IRCTC it is mentioned Rs 50.

The food included dal, paneer, chapati and rice whereas online it mentioned to be including curd, pickle, water as well.

Can you please do something on this as even with so much charge you failed to provide an eatable food to your customer and the food got wasted.
