Its totally fake, if anyone has already deposited the money then their money is gone and nothing can be done about it. Except you can put a complaint in the consumer forum and from next time make sure that you do a proper research before paying the money. I also got the same type of letter, so after reading it i thought that some thing fishy is going on here. So i google searched the name of the recruiter and there it was there was no person in that name and a lot of complaints regarding the fake appointment letter. Also one thing was noticeable that the english used in the letter was in many ways incorrect.
So beware and from next time do some research before taking any further steps.

I paid the money as security deposit but that was fake appointment letter then how can i get back... and how these people are cheating by using the name of tata company... It is horrible they should take neccessary actions against them they are spoiling the reputation of the company... Pls everyone be safe and dont waste your money

If I hadn't read your post I might have wasted more money on this fraud (I had transferred Rs 717/- + Rs 680/- and I had also booked flight tickets to Pune, I just canceled them after I read your post, lost Rs 3250/- for flight cancelling as well)
I got a call from the same person with the same story. The names, karmakar, Roshan SIngh (HR Manager, TATA MOTORS), the moment I read these names, I realised this the the exact person who contacted me, the person who contacted me said, since I haven't given the AMCAT exam, he'll generate a fake score card for me, ang using that I'll get the job in TATA MOTORS, ERC, as Junior Engine Testing Engineer (JETE) (there's no such post) He sent me an email which consisted of TATA Motors Gate pass, Offer letter, and fake AMCAT score card, all these documents were sent in confidential mode (which means I can neither download these nor can I Print them). So I decided to take screenshot of those docs, Now I;m uploading these documents.
I was offered a package of 27750 per month for training period and after 3 months of training, my package will be 4.81 lpa.
Guys, please beware, I don't usually pay any attention to these consultancies but this guy was a Pro, he had this convincing power, that a guy like me got trapped and lost around Rs 5000/- of my parent's hard earned money to a fraud.

He gave us a back story that a candidate has cleared aptitude group discussion and interview. Was offered with job but denied due to other good offer. So we are placing you in his place and this is an urgent opening so without any exam you are listed in. His fee is 2 months’ salary which he will take after joining in 2nd and 3rd month (which is 27750 per month mentioned in offer letter).
I told him we will visit Pune next day of dussera i.e. 12/10/2016 instead of what he has asked for i.e. 11/10/2016. He said fine. But my family had its own doubts so we visited it on dussera day. Found out company is not working. Security is present. He verified that gate pass that it’s fake. Checked his records and told us no one with name Chetan Karmakar is working with us nor is Roshan Singh. We found out other person with same story was denied entry from company on the same day.
We tried contacting this guy but he didn't answer till evening. We didn’t disclose that we had a surprise check and asked whom to meet in company when we reach there he started chanting his old lot. Said Karmakar is the HR but I will pick you up, then we will make agreement etc. Finally I could hold my anger no more and confronted him with my actual finding that this case is fake and I know the truth. This guy was speechless and said no more words.
I am saved. I am putting up this story to alert next victims if any.
Rakesh Kumar speaks in hindi in UP tone. Gives lucrative offers. Says he knows inside people and all. Always calls after 8 pm. Will never answer your call but will call you back within 30 mins of your calls. Will say he will create all results required to get shortlisted. Mails from [protected]@gmail.com.
