Accenture India — Asking for PAN card without any prior interview confirmation

I was looking out for an opportunity in Accenture .I received a call from there only .She offered me a position for Gurgaon office but she was asking me for my PAN details. I told her that i cannot trust her asking me my personal details. So she sent me a mail from Accenture registered is asking for my PAN. I still have that mail. As I was very interested in that job i provided her my PAN but i am regretting it now. I am scared now that they will misuse my Pan details.
Please help me and give me a clearance that it will not be misused as she was an employee of the company but i guess i shouldn't have given my PAN prior to any confirmation.
