ACT Fibernet — Late fee charges

My subscription is ending on 15th May'2023.
I want to resume the connection on 1st June as I am leaving town for 15 days.
But ACT is charging a late fee. Which is clear looting and illegal. How can they charge late fees for prepaid plans?
