ACT Fibernet — Not refunding un used month balance after disconnection

I was shifting my house and requested for relocation service on 29 Aug 2025 and selected the slot for 31 Aug 9AM - 1 PM.On 31 Aug till 1 PM no one called from ACT and when i called the support they said that the executive will reach in 1 hour.But they did not when i reached again on 4PM they said that will reach around 6 PM.when i questioned if they could do their work after 6 when it is dark they assured that the executive can do that.Till 7 the executive did not come .I again called the customer support and when questioned why they did not come the support said since it is after 6 the executive cannot come and do connection and will be available on the next day.I asked to escalate the call and they said they cannot transfer to anyone directly and will schedule an escalation call(but no one called).

On the next day (September 1) i called support 4 more times and they repeated the same 1 hour story and asked for escalation in all the calls.they said they will schedule but they did not call. I got frustrated and scheduled an another provider for broadband service and asked ACT to cancel the service.They raised a ticket for disconnection and said that some one will reach you regarding relocation and not to proceed with disconnection.

I waited one more day and since i got no call from ACT i paid for another service.By September 2 evening i got call from ACT support regarding disconnection (not relocation) and said that they will assist withing 48 hours and not to cancel.

This was the first call i received from ACT in the 4 days.No call back for Relocation, No call back for Escalation but called back only i tried to disconnect.

The ACT support agent tried to persuade me to not close the connection but i said since i got a new connection and ACT did not provide the service it promised i want to close the connection and want a refund for the remaining 5 months that i have not used.

At that time the ACT support agent said that they have no policy of refund and that they cannot do anything in this regard and asked to call support again try for refund.

I shared the same to support in call and in X(twitter) to ACT handle.On September 3 they are calling and saying the cannot refund but may transfer it to ACT account and i can use it for any other service.When requested to refund to original payment method they are that it is not possible and to mail to nodal and support for refund,

ACT has now blocked my number from reaching support also.I have disconnected solely because of their support.

Please help with refund to my original payment.

PS- Most of the ACT support people respond sarcastically when calling to them.(You would have the call recordings)Please educate how to talk to them
