ACT Fibernet — power fluctuation in act broadband damaged the personal computer and wifi router

My desktop motherboard, new wifi router and wifi adapter are damaged (Unable to power on) due to high power fluctuation in act fibernet on saturday.
Service representative visited the site confirmed that there was high power fluctuation on the act broadband wire because of rain/thunder storm which caused damaging the wire, port and other devices connected including the router and computer.
I am using act for high speed internet and never expected that a low quality wire or connection could damage my personal devises. I have raised a complaint and yet to hear from your end.
Act should take measures to take care of power fluctuations in their fiber-net.
Otherwise, soon customers will switch to other internet providers.

Can i take it legally to get compensation for my loses?
