Hi my name is Mohammed Zubair, I am from Chennai I have been using ACT fibernet internet service from febraury 2022 to today ( March 6th 2025) 3 years totally.
I am aware that the junction box is Fixed on my premises but i ignored it since the technician told me it has an inbuilt battery and doesn't consume much of electricity, recently i came to know that ACT is paying a special discount of 50 Rs for each month as a waiver for electricity used by the junction box.
So I spoke to the Customer support person and explained the issue about the Junction box and they acknowledged my information that i have been using ACT for 3 years and the box is in my premise and proceeded to refund only 1 month waiver of 50 Rs only!.
I was shocked by the response of ACT and called again to discuss about the situation and spoke to the billing department, The person said that even though I was using for 3 years and the junction box is consuming my electricity for three years I am only eligible for one year of waiver refund, I asked him that i paid the electricity for 3 years but only receive for 1 year?, he replied that it was the policy of ACT to refund only 1 year of waiver.
This is totally un acceptable, I would like to get my waiver for all three years of electricity consumption by the junction box.
