I have paid Rs 2120/-for new Act Fibernet connection ahead on Sept 16th, 2025, for 3 months. Instead of issuing a new connection they reactivated an old connection which was disconnected from past 6 months. Act has a clear policy stating that if the connection is disabled for 6 months, it should be treated as new connection when customer comes back after 6 months. without my knowledge they reactivated the old connection and charged me extra for it and started harassing me by cutting the connection every now and then. it's been 10 days that I have no Wi-Fi internet in the span of two months. Even today, the tenth time asking me to pay the extra and suspended my account.
When a customer takes a new connection, they issue the accounts to which we have to pay, and they later change it once they initiate the router/modem connection at the address. Act created a huge mess when I clearly stated I want a new connection; they activated an old, disconnected account without my knowledge and asked me to pay an extra and suspended the account as part of the reactivation fee.
