ACT Fibernet — Urgent: Immediate Removal of Disconnected WI-FI Box Safety Hazard

I am writing to escalate a long-pending issue regarding the removal of the ACT Wi-Fi box at my residence. We have not been availing ACT services for over 2 years, yet the box has still not been removed.

Recently, the wires from the box have started hanging loosely, posing a direct safety hazard to passersby. The landlord has also requested immediate removal, given recent incidents of electric shocks in the vicinity.

This request was initially raised under SR No. SR[protected] on September 3rd, and despite multiple follow-ups via calls and emails, there has been no action taken. I have received repeated assurances, but the issue remains unresolved. Even escalation to the nodal officer has yielded no results.

This is a serious safety concern, and further delay is unacceptable. I request immediate action to remove the box and secure the loose wiring, failing which I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the relevant consumer safety authorities
