Hello,
My mother is admitted in SICU for the treatment of hypoglycemia. And there is lot of swelling in her hand because they are taking blood every hour for testing. And senior doctor has suggested SICU staff to rub some cream.
But SICU doctors are so care less they are not doing any thing.
Very worst hospital in providing service.
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
All the Care Units - CISU or CCU - everywhere same state... my father is admitted in CCU & we're facing the same conditions...

      The parking ticket is availed for only 6 hrs but even if the vechile is jnside for than 48 hrs there is no charge while going out. And if the vechile goes out after 6 hr just for a minute or soo while parking again there is a charge? When asked about this there was no clear justification. There are dual standards while applying charges. When i asked him to explain about this there was no proper explanation and he said it all depends on us

        My father in law mr vikas patil bed no 2023b was admitted in aditya birla hospital chinchwad pune for chest pain on 9th aug 2019. But in emergency ward it was told to them that we need dr rajiv sethi but your staff with out our knowledge called up dr badne for which we were not atall comfortable but they said you can change the dr after wards. But when patient was shifted to icu we told them to change the dr for which they said it is not possible. Every step the staff were giving false commitment as if they were been or guided to do so. So we decided to take discharge and told dr to discharge the patient as early as possible. That time was roughly 10 am we got assurance from dr that discharge procedure will take 2 hrs. Then around 11 am some lady from admin called us and started convincing us to not take discharge. So around 11:30 am she agreed to give discharge and said will take 2hr. So 2hrs means by 12:30 pm (Drs agreed by 10:45am to discharge) we were suppose to get discharge but we got discharge by 2:15 pm horrible. While discharged they gave bill which included all test done along with hemogram. But they said hemogram report is not available and they will investigate and will replay. How come they can bill the test which is not done. Hospital is giving fake bills to patient or would say the tests which are not done are also been charged. With out doing test how can they give bill.
        Mrs prasad from admin department was very harsh and arrogant in talking and said do what ever u want to do.
        Today i got a call in evening that hemogram test was not done.
        Very very pathetic and unprofessional hospital. I had already filed a complaint in consumer and docket no is also been shared to your staff.

          My uncle had admitted in your hospital., Before 8 months in August 2018.

          If required, I can provide you in detail everything.

          To claim amount for ESIC., I need consolidate bill for 15-20 days approximately.

          I visited hospital 3-4 times, but they are denying giving illogical reason.

          But I am requesting you to kindly help me understanding our need.

              Called 70 year old lady for angiography at 8:00 am and never called for procedure till 4.00pm.

              She was told to be on fasting since 7.30am and till now she didn't had any thing.

              We understand they have to give preference to emergency patients but they could have informed us for postponing the procedure which is fine
              but keeping 70 year old person waiting for so long is not a good idea

                My mother had problem in tooth.
                Dr.Manisha attended and suggested for normal extraction of tooth. She was good and polite but after that Sanyukta Khairnar came for extraction of tooth..Her behaviour was very rude and she even don't know how to talk to their patients. Despite of taking care, she literally abused my mother and used harsh words. My mother is not even ready to visit Aditya Birla again because of her behaviour.
                I request to please pass on this feedback to Dr. Sanyukta Khairnar . She is there to take care of their patients, not for troubling them more.

Sunita ochani admitted on 5 sept midnight at 11.30 v got the room 2050 where there was no good facility & no cleanliness thn on 6 sept they shifted to 2054 which was more worst condition the whole day noise disturbation was there & the patient cnt sleep thn on 7 sept v got discharge where v got more trouble in process and clearing the bills v hv call for wheel chair bt the service was nt there for 45 mins and aftr waiting so much tm v brought the patient by walk
                  Hence pls take strict action on managemnt of aditya birla hospital chinchwad the worst service they provide aftr taking so much charges overall the hospital is costly and worst

                    On 27th of march, i informed the staff to increase the ac as it was really hot in there, it took them 4 hrs to do that. The main doctor never came as informed to us by the duty doctor that he will be coming soon. No medication was given to him for 2 days for his stomach ailment and they stopped his heart medicine. It was a mandatory medicine and i believe that was the reason for his demise.3 hrs before my fathers death, my cousin spoke to the main doctor and he ensured that everythings gonna be ok and the next day he will be discharged but infact he did not survive for 2 hrs. On 27th itself my father told the duty doctor that he can breathe properly and he does not need a ventilator. They forced the ventilator on him due to which my father was restless and they tied his both hands. When i asked about their actions, they told me they know what they are doing and threw me out of the icu. This kind of behaviour is not expected from a reputed hospital. When the patient needed more of attention and caring as promised, his hands were tied when he was very very scared. We followed the hospital protocol and left the place. My main concern over here is why the main doctor did not visit and why we were not informed about his actual issue. No medication provided, and what did the doctor see in the patient that he assured us that he will be discharged tomorrow whereas he passed away the same day. I would like to get a reply back from you as i deserve to know what went wrong. For you he was just a patient but for us we lost a family.

                    Greetings from ABMH !

                    Thanks for sharing your grievances; I am forwarding my opinion in regards to the concerns raised by you.

                    This patient is a 65 –year-old with old history of myocardial infarction.

                    He had a low heart pumping(40%).

                    He came to the hospital with history of breathlessness & chest pain since 2-3 days.

                    On examination, he was breathless at rest, fatigued & tired.

                    Hence, he was advised admission in the Medical ICU.

                    1) This is centralized A/C hospital & there is no issue regards A/C functioning. He was very restless & that is the reason he might have felt uncomfortable.

                    2) During admission time too the patient & the family were informed that we would like to stabilize the patient & discharge him if he remains stable.

                    3) After admission, patients reports were done which suggested infection(WBC:18100).He also had abdominal pain for which antacids & antigas medicines were started.
                    a. In the night, patient had an episode of ventricular tachycardia(non-sustained)(a potentially fatal heart rhythm abnormality).
                    b. He was started on anti-arrhythmic medicines(amiodarone & lignocaine)
                    c. Settled overnight with urine output of 900cc.

                    4) In the morning his BP was stable but still was breathless-hence not shifted to wards.
                    a. In view of infection-antibiotics were also started.
                    b. Sonography showed gall stones.
                    c. I visited the patient at 11:00 AM on 27/02/2018 in the ICU.

                    5) By afternoon, he started feeling more breathless even on Non-invasive Ventilation-no improvement.
                    a. I visited the patient at 5:00 PM on 27/02/2018 & discussed with the family. They were reluctant for mechanical ventilator but there was no other choice.

                    6) Holter was also put in the morning to monitor heart rhythm.

                    7) He kept on deteriorating & expired at 1.00AM

                    8) His Holter showed sustained incessant VT & VF & he succumbed to this dangerous cardiac arrhythmias.

                    Conclusion:
                    • He had a sick heart (weak heart pumping)
                    • Old heart attack
                    • Infection (sepsis)
                    • Metabolic Acidosis
                    • Gall stones
                    • Incessant VT & VF (a potentially fatal heart rhythm abnormality)

                    I think as a clinician we have tried our best but patient had significant comorbidities.

                        I think that instead of thinking about the patients you are thinking about the money only. My mom age 63 slipped and her wrist got fracture. But i dont think that 2.5 hours long surgery is required for the same. It can be cured using the plaster as well. But once the doctor got to know that patient has medical insurance, a surgery is planned (3 wired inserted into her hands). Also every week dressing is going on so my mother is going through lot of pain. I think doctors should consider money but atleast thought about the pain to patients as well.

                          I had admitted in aditya birla hospital for the surgery of kidney stone and they have charged me around 80000 for the procedure, normally it would be done at other hospitals around 30000.

                          As per the doctor advised i undergone for x-ray and sonography twice.

                          I had the misplaced the original bill and request them to produce duplicate bill and they had asked me to pay 100rs each for bill.

                          My question is why they asking 100 rs for each bill and on what basis they are asking 100 rs for each bill.

                          They had said that they have such policy to produce duplicate bill.

                          Could you please look into this.

                          Why theier billing department greasing customers like this and they charging extremely high charges and even duplicate bill also they are charging.

                            On 25th january 29, 2017, we have gone through an annual preventive health check up at aditya birla memorial hospital, thergaon, chinchwad, pune, maharashtra-411033. Telephone no:[protected], email: [protected]@adityabirla.com... Subsequently i paid an amount of rs 14, 571/- through my credit card. However, the actual bill was rs 14250/- bearing bill dated 25th january 17.

                            On top of that the hospital charged me rs 321/- for payment through credit card which comes to 2.25% of total amount.in spite of several request the hospital people were so adamant to charge me the extra 2.25% because of credit card. I have also asked them the bills or mention the same amount in the invoice which has been denied right away.

                            Frankly it was a great surprise to me. While the government is driving very hard on cashless economy and digital payments the reputed & big business house in healthcare industry like adiyta birla group are looting public openly without any fear. If this hospital thinks the 2.25% extra charge for credit card payment is legal, then why they are not mentioning in bills. Please imagine the number of transactions they made in a day, month and year, 2.25% of credit card and may be 1% of debit cards would be an accumulation of huge unaccounted money or not paying any taxes on same.

                            I have lodged a complaint on jago grahaka jago bearing complaint id : 9956192 dated 20th may 17, wrote to rbi, controller of legal metrology (Weights & measures), ministry of finance etc, unfortunately everyone is saying it does not come under them. Only one person is now left indian prime minister.

                            I am really helpless.

                              I am visiting to abmh chinchwad since from last 2 years. Recently it is observed that hospital is started charging extra surcharges of around 2% on the payment more than rs. 1000 when payment is made by credit card/debit card
                              I asked the staff regarding details of these and staff person replied that the bank is charging the surcharges not us.
                              Yesterday i. E. On june 13, 2017, i used credit card for payment of blood test. The amount was rs. 4115, but person swiped rs. 4208 on my credit card i. E. Rs. 93 surcharge.
                              But if the bank is charging the surcharges, why the person swiped amount 4208 and not 4115. As the bank is charging extra on my credit card, it will get reflected in my card statement automatically.
                              It is not possible to carry a cash for the billing amount more than 1000. Does that mean i will have to pay extra every time when i use my credit card/debit card?

                                We recently had an operation completed at ABMH, Wakad, Pune. As we were opting for Cashless, there was a delay and hence the Hospital asked us to deposit some amount which we did. After the Cashless was approved, there was a refund amount due to us from the Hospital.
                                Firstly the hospital delayed the payment and when they did, they submitted it in the wrong name because of which the NEFT was rejected. I have been following-pu with them for over 20 days now, but there is no satisfactory response.
                                This shows the concern they have about their customers and their service

                                      Patient Name :- Varsha Datta Kad

                                      My Name is Datta kad and my wife was admitted in Aditya Birla on 6th march for ecatopic pregency.
                                      so they discharge my wife on 9th March. so the total bill was 136000 and approved by insurance company is 114000.
                                      so in this case hospital should take difference amount i.e (Actually bill136000 - Approved by insurance company114000) = 22000
                                      so they collected 30231 from me. when I asked why your taking extra amount from me then they not given the proper reason.

                                        dear doctor i was hospitalized in platinum ward during 10 May to 13 may due to lower back pain. i would like to highlight and request hospital management to improve the following services. 1. MRI Report : More than 24 hours taken to disclose the MRI report. It was really strange. without MRI report, the doctor was not able to take the correct actoin. even i was also consfused, why the report takes this much time. 2. The walker was not available in the ward. after so many request your staff arranged 3. wheel chair : Use to wait around 15 ~ 20 minutes to go and come back for IFT and MRI. 4. TV was not functioning and even Remote was out of reach for staff also. any way the TV start functining after too much followup 5. Food quality : since outside food is not allowed. therefore the food quality and soup quality must improve. so that the basic requiement of human body can intake for correct response of medicines. 6. Due to ward name ( like Gold, platinum, suite, saffire), my mediclaim policy got doubt, weather i am eligible for such ward or not. therefore please make a check list and eligibility for each group
