Agarwal Packers & Movers — Abusive threatening staff

My personal items were packed in naigao east last evening and were delivered to Vapi today morning. The final location of the unpacking is SILVASSA.

The transporter who carried my belongings reached Vapi quite early and was in touch with me since 9:30 AM today morning.

There was no coordination between Mumbai and Vapi as alleged by Mr. Gaurav Pandey and apparently Vapi office was not informed about the vehicle or the booking.

However once communication was established, the vehicle was dispatched from Vapi around 3:30 PM and reached the delivery location at 4:45 approximately however no staff from your end arrived till 5:30

Of the 32 mentioned items everything was shifted to the residence within 1hr and 45 minutes leaving one major item, my double bed.

It was mentioned multiple times that atleast 6 people will be needed to move the bed - to both the coordinator in naigao as well as Mr Pandey once he started communication much after avoiding my calls for most of the day.

Only 2 people were sent to begin with. The transporter booked from your end as well as a transporter who had come with your staff had to help unload the bed from the vehicle it arrived in. Once your staff saw the level of difficulty to move the bed, they immediately requested Mr. Pandey to send additional people else it would not be possible to move the bed. All this happened while they started moving the rest of my belongings to the residence.

In silvassa most buildings do not have a service lift and large items are required to be taken up by stairs. My residence is on the 6th floor of the building. All of this was mentioned to your so called coordinators and managers including Mrs/ Ms dalvi in Bombay and Mr. Pandey in Vapi multiple times before the vehicle and your staff arrived at the unloading destination.

Once everything apart from the bed was moved up, I was informed by your staff that the bed will not be shifted today and they will get additional people tomorrow morning to move it. The problem with which is I have a Puja at my new workplace, for which I have shifted to Silvassa, tomorrow morning starting 8 AM, which will be attended by the owners of the company. Not something I can miss, nor was I comfortable leaving my bed in the open compound of a new society which isn't fully occupied yet, in a new city. I clearly explained that to Mr Pandey - his response to which was that's only what can happen and he hung up on me.

On calling Mr Pandey again his tone was very aggresive and demeaning, not expected from someone in a managerial post in a service oriented company. He went on to threaten me of physical harm and was abusive at the same time.

I had to call the police to intervene as your staff sent to my location was all but ready to leave and was also acting agressively on behest of Mr. Pandey.

Finally I had to call for four additional labourers on my Accord and expense to complete the moving of the bed and your staff was cooperative once the police showed up and warned them of consequences if the bed was not moved today.

I too at times was lound and had to take certain steps in the manner of seeming to be aggresive for the workers to complete their job. Mr. Anis and Mr. Ankit were the names they gave me. Kindly note both the workers were very helpful devoid of Mr Pandey's instructions but everytime Mr Pandey communicated with them they showed some passive aggression and even raised their voice once or twice. They themselves seemed tired by the end of the entire ordeal and just wanted to get it over with.

I am now vary of the looming threats placed by Mr Pandey and fearful of physical harm to myself and my wife as your company has my exact location.

I request you to look into the matter and rectify this situation immediately.

I will have to take necessary legal steps to ensure my protection from Mr. Pandey and anyone other entities he may engage in to cause me and my wife further distress and even physical harm.
