I got my goods transported from delhi to bangalore. Following are the relevant details:
Packing in delhi: 25 may, 2017
Gc no.: 4554015
Delivery in bangalore: 11 june, 2017
The delivery has been very fast and beyond my expectation. Also the packing in delhi and unpacking in bangalore has been very well done.
While receiving the goods in bangalore, we checked that 2 items were damaged.
1. One side of one of the box of double bed was pierced and hence the ply ruptured beyond repairs.
2. One leg of the fridge got bent and so it could not balance.
I mentioned these 2 damages on the delivery papers as directed by the delivery people.
The insurance was there for this relocation. I checked with the origin peoples in delhi about the claim and they asked me to send an email to [protected]@drsindia.in for this. I sent the email with pictures on june 20, 2017 to this id keeping bangalore and ghaziabad office (Origin from east delhi and so handled by ghaziabad branch of drs india) in copy.
As usual, no response for email. I contacted customer care and they did not raise any complaint for non redressal at all. They keep on giving following 2 numbers for the claim department:

But on these numbers, phone always rang but never picked-up. This is why i decided to raise my complaint over here to get compensation. Was this information helpful? |
