On 25th Nov, 2023 I booked a service for transporting my vehicle Mahindra Thar from Hyderabad to Kolkata through Agarwal packers and movers.
The car was picked up by one of their driver named Deepak on 25th Nov 2023 and amount of 20000/- Rs was paid to Agarwal packers and movers for the transport service through credit card.
Since then the car has not reached Kolkata and upon following up for status I was informed on multiple occasion that my car was stuck in Odisha due to bad weather condition.
However, on 8th Dec 2023 my car was found in a parking lot of Sudha Cinepolis Mall and was driven by some local citizen.
This was immediately reported to the Mughaspura Police station and the car along with the driver was confiscated.
After investigating by the police, they found out that the company gave the car to the driver to load it on the trailer and he couldn’t load it due to bigger tyre size of my car and from 25th Nov till 8th Dec the car has been driven approximately 700kms.
Car has been damaged severely, the bumper is broken, along with the grill, tyre has been damaged along with all 4 alloys completely scratched. The Driver Md Arif confirmed that he drove the car and gave the car to his friends to drive it.
On 8th of Dec, in front of the SHO of the Mughalpura Police Station, the person name Bajrang who was representing Agarwal Packers and Movers agreed to pay for the damages done by the fellow driver and their friends. He also agreed to refund my initial amount of 20, 000 Rs which I paid to transfer my car from Hyderabad to Kolkata
Neither I have received the refund nor any update on the parts which has been damage.
Please register my complaint against Agarwal Packers and moves for not delivering my car to kolkata for illegally operating and driving my car without my permission.
