I am writing to formally file a complaint concerning the handling of my recent relocation with Agarwal Packers & Movers, under Booking No - GCNOIDA[protected]
During the transportation process, unfortunately, the vehicle carrying my household items encountered an accident. As a consequence of this incident, several of my household items sustained significant damage, amounting to an approximate value of Rs 59, 000.
Upon reporting the damage to Agarwal Packers & Movers, I promptly filed a claim for the insured household items. However, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the manner in which my claim has been handled by your company.
The offered settlement amount of Rs 27, 000 is unreasonably lower than the actual value of the damaged items. Furthermore, the deduction of this amount includes an unspecified and arbitrary depreciation that has been applied without providing any clear explanation or transparent calculation methodology. It is pertinent to note that the documents provided by company prior to the relocation did not mention any clause pertaining to depreciation, adding to the confusion and dissatisfaction regarding this deduction.
I wish to express my concern regarding the discrepancy in the settlement offered and the lack of transparency in the deduction process. As a customer who relied on services with the understanding of insurance coverage for my belongings, I feel that this resolution is unjust and fails to fulfill the assurance provided.
