Today on March 29 2022, I was trying to book Ari ticket on Air India website. With multiple try after entering the multiple Credit Card issued by various Canada bank such as CIBC, RBC, transaction was not happening.

It was failing at Air India and throwing the error of payment not authorized.

My dad is in ICU and I have to urgently travel . the ticket for March 31st which I was getting for $846 went to $921.br...

Hi,

I have been sending you guys so many emails for my refund and even called several times and still have not got any response on this. It has been more than 2 months and I have absolutely no update on when I will get my refund.

What is the issue? This is getting really frustrating that there is no response on this. Why is this taking so much time and why am I not getting any proper response from your side? Please look into this at priority and escalate this matter as soon as possible.

    I have purchased Air India economy class 4 tickets of round trip from New Delhi to Patna with dep date 29 April 2021 from New Delhi to Patna and arrival date 2May 2021 from Patna to New Delhi. I cancelled the ticket with the time frame allowing to cancel the ticket over telephonic conversation and was assured that refund will reflect within 20-24 days but I didn't got any .Upon complain they said to mail the ticket and transaction Id but no measures were taken to return the amount. All they did was to not take request seriously and neglecting the same for over an year till date.

      Recently I flew with Air india 2 times and both the times the screen wasn't working. Upo
      asking the crew member, i did not get any help and i could not change my seat as there was no seat available. I flew from Delhi to Toronto and it is extremely frustrating to just not be able to do anything for 15 hrs. You should atleast get the screens fixed when you are charging so much for a direct flight. I need compensation for the discomfort and worst experience I had to have with Air india 2 times and not just one.

        I booked a ticket in Air India PNR YZ2PW
        From mumbai - dubai - delhi through airindia web app. Paid Rs 79, 102
        Ticket did not come on line therefore I booked the ticket through travel agent.
        How ever later the ticket came on mail
        And i had double ticket on same day same route I called air india and the representative cancelled the ticket and told to send refund
        I have not received refund.
        Air india call centre numbers are not working
        I want to lodge complaint of refund of RS 79, 102.00

          Seat selection payment made but seat not allocated

          Ref:- Km. Kokila Gulati, student VIT Vellore ECE Department Vellore (Tamil Nadu)
          Dear sir,
          I booked 3 tickets of self (Km Kokila Gulati) my mother (Smt. Devyani Gulati) and my father (Sh Prem Swaroop Deepak, Advocate Income Tax and GST). The flight was scheduled for 05/03/2022 at 04:16 PM and we reached at air at 3:05 PM. as soon as we reach at the air port and contacted MR Rao officer on charge, he abruptly behaved us and shouted that web check in is closed and contact to counter no 1 as the flight is closed. As per instruction given by MR Rao we reached at counter no 1 of your group ( Air India limited, Tata Group) we found that every person was busy with the mobile and they were not listening to the passenger. That was a lady in-charge was remained busy on mobile for 10 min. after that she started shouted on me and my father and mother saying ( what can I do as it is not a matter related to me).
          It is further stated that my father who is advocate requested MR Rao that 6th march is the reporting date of my college VIT Vellore but he has not listen the requested of my father.
          That I have to travel with indigo airline after paying huge amount to the indigo airline and also have to bear travelling expenses of taxi and I and my family were mentally disturbed and after laps of 20 days they very hardly recovered there memories for the rude behavior of Air India Ltd. Tata Group.
          Kindly give the following information on record to enable me to file suit against the company at Roorkee court and all the expenses liable to be incurred shall be recovered from you.
          1. Full name of MR Rao may be given to me who was on duty on[protected] for flight no AI 537
          2. That name of the lady in charge of the counter no 1 on[protected]
          3. That who has travelled in our place at seat 27D-27E and 27F on[protected] at flight no AI 537.
          4. That if some one has travelled on seat no 27D, 27E and 27F on[protected], kindly give the name and address of the persons.
          5. That for what amount the tickets have been sold.
          You are requested to kindly give the above information within 15 days on the receipt of the notice other wise it will be presumed that Air india limited, Tata Group is involved in the incidence. To avoid litigation your are requested to cooperate us and set an enquiry against the persons for this incidence.

            Telephone line diesnt work, email response is non existent and no customer support when flights are changed or cancelled.
            Travelled Business class via Delhi from Kolkata on 19th and 20th of March and found that Lounge was not available and hasbeen closed for 2 yrs - customers not informed and no alternative arrangement made.
            The planes are in shocking state with parts falling off during landing and take off. Entertainment systems virtually non existent.
            Is this the Tata legacy for customers?
            I am a frequent flier and am shocked to see this even after Tata takeover.
            Whats your planand reassurance?

                Experience traveling to India via Air India
                (Airline reference # HHZH9P and HIERGI)
                I decided to travel to India sooner the Covid situation eased up in February 2022.
                Bought 2 Business class tickets for myself and my wife who is unwell. I started our travel on 25th of February 2022 from Atlanta via Delta Airlines. The full schedule starts to end was as described below
                1) 25th February 2022 via Delta Airlines -- Atlanta to Chicago
                2) Chicago to Delhi on 25th February 2022 via Air India Business class (scheduled to start around 9:30 PM Central Time)
                3) Delhi to Kolkata on 27th February 2022 early morning via Air India business class
                4) Start back from Kolkata to Delhi on 11th March 2022 via Air India Business Class
                5) Delhi to Chicago on 18th March 2022 early morning via Air India Business Class
                6) Chicago to Atlanta on 18th March 2022
                While starting from Atlanta Delta agent booked all the check-in baggage through to Kolkata and by definition, I am supposed to pick up the all the baggage at Delhi because of customs requirement and then put back the same to the transfer desk and release all of the luggage at Kolkata upon arrival. I followed the instructions.
                In Delhi 1 of my baggage did not arrive like many passengers from the same flights.
                I have files a claim and finally received the baggage after 3 days at Kolkata. While researching I learned that it is quite common for Air India travel.
                While coming back from Kolkata on 11th March 2022 to Delhi, I have had excellent experience at the Air India counter. The lady processing my bookings and boarding pass explained me that “If I my travel to USA is a continuation on the same day she could have booked the baggage Through to Atlanta similar to what happened while coming from Atlanta, but as I am staying for a few days at Delhi, I should get the same service surely when I check in at Delhi Air India Check In counter on 17th evening for 18th morning Flight to Chicago and then to Atlanta”.
                But the reality was completely upside down. When we arrived at the Air India check in wing “F” and reached the first counter for Business Class check in, the young lady looked at my ticket and her first reaction was “Though my final destination is Atlanta, the Baggage could only be booked up to Chicago”.
                Upon explaining that both the airline companies are Star Alliance and as the ticket was booked under a single PNR, the baggage should be booked through to Atlanta similar to what happened on my travel to India on 25th February 2022 which will also going to provide coverage to my any excess baggage weight limit that is allowed for Business Class, we were refused and over and above the attitude and rude behavior of the counter staff, the supervisor and the station manager confirmed that we made one of the worst decision of our life when we decided to fly Air India.
                Now the fun part is that, I am able to connect to an Air India staff back in Kolkata, and they did a honest try to explain that the booking to Atlanta is absolutely possible and how that could be done to the counter agent, but they denied acting on the same.
                The pain continued when we reached Chicago. We did not find any Air India ground staff who could help or suggest any action. Myself and my cancer survived wife learned that we had to drag the four baggage with 2 cabin luggage from terminal 5 (Air India terminal) to terminal 2 (Delta Airline terminal). Chicago airport authority do not allow any cart in the elevator or on the train between the terminals and so the only option was to drag all the luggage all the way to terminal 2 Delta counter.
                And the misery was not over even then. Delta agent clearly stated that as the luggage are not through and so I had to pay $440.00 to book the baggage as an excess baggage charge were applied because of the above issue forced on us by the Delhi Air India counter staffs.
                My wife is now sick and incurring a lot of pain she is trying to recover from. I am not even considering or describing my health issues.
                Is this the expected service a Business Class traveler from the Air India Staff? I could not even imagine what kind of harassment Economy class passengers may be facing either.
                I am so sick and tired of the horror we have experienced. I will definitely be sharing our experience with all my friend and families and their Extended friends and families to ensure that all of them should be aware of the expected behavior of Air India ground staff in the capitol of India and intended hassle they must face against the loyalty shown to an Indian airline company. It is unfortunate that after spending $3300+ for the ticket to India we deserve lifelong nightmare related to Air India travel.

                  I purchased an Air India economy class ticket from Chicago to Delhi( round trip). While going from Chicago, I travelled in economy class, but for return journey, I applied for upgrade to Business and it was applied with the airline directly. The airline accepted the request, approved it and sent a congratulatory email stating that I will have the opportunity to travel in Business. A seat also got assigned when I did web check-in. They charged my credit card on March 13, 2022 for INR 71, 410 translated to USD 934.44 for approving the upgrade request.

                  When I reached the IGI airport T-3 on March 16, 2022 for flight to Chicago for which the e-ticket number is (098) [protected], I was told that it will have to be downgraded to economy due to some issue with some seats in the aircraft. I didn't notice any issue and my seat was occupied when I entered the aircraft. I was assured that I will get my money back as it was an airline decision to downgrade.

                  Now, after I returned to Chicago and trying to connect with Customer care so that they can take the refund request and have it processed, I am getting templated responses over and over again with no clear path to resolution. I followed all the steps they said starting from sharing the documents over email to filling feedback request, but there is no acknowledgement on their part to issue a refund despite the airline denying the service. Since it is a case of service denial on part of the airline, I should be refunded the amount they charged for the upgrade. There have been a lot of back and forth emails with the customer care and a lot of phone calls, but no luck. No clarity at all. I was asked to fill feedback request multiple times even after I filled it already and have to remind them that I already filled. Sometimes they say to channelize refund request through the travel agency knowing fully that the airline directly accepted the upgrade request and approved it without mandating the involvement of travel agency. And every time I seek an update on where the request stands, it appears the clock gets reset with same templated responses like investigation will be done or fill the feedback form. It's been over a week hearing the same templated responses. I understand that refund process takes time, but here there is no transparency in what is being done. The customer care, when approached, shows the picture as-if nothing has been done at all on my request. Every time I approach them, it appears we are back to square one. Deeply disappointed to see what is happening. It is an open and shut case and it's frankly no brainer that denial of service on part of any service provider should result in refund being issued to the customer.

                  Please help so that this can be closed.

                    I had booked economy class from Delhi to Patna on 2nd March 2022 by Air India whose travel date was 5th April 2022 but I had to cancel the journey due to my reasons. So I canceled my travel ticket on 3rd March 2022.
                    As per Air India's ticket cancellation rules, there is a full refund on the canceled ticket within 24 hours and I was also assured that there will be a full refund.
                    Till now I have not got the refund, today when I asked on the helpline, it is being told that your ticket is non-refundable. While I had asked on their helpline before canceling the ticket, it was told that within 24 hours, there is a full refund on the canceled ticket.

                      Respected Sir/Madam,

                      This is Srikarni R writing to you with a state of disappointment regarding Air India Theft during my travel from California to Hyderabad on Feb 17th -19th travel dates.

                      I am writing this to you with lots of hope and huge respect towards the great man (Ratan Tata Ji). I have travelled from California-Chicago-Delhi-Hyderabad. I started my flight on 17th of Feb from SFO airport and landed at Chicago Airport on 18th of Feb. My flight with Air India was at Chicago airport on 18th of Feb, and the airport crew took my Cabin bag while boarding the flight inside the tube saying that there is no space available for the cabin bag and I can collect it at Delhi airport. Trusting them, after I landed at Delhi airport, I checked for my cabin bag for nearly 3 hours and could not find it and tried to register a complaint at help desk and they said that I don't have enough time for my connecting flight to Hyderabad, trusting them again I flew to Hyderabad and again after searching there for 2 hours I filed a complaint of missing luggage and the help desk assured me that I will recieve my luggage delivered after two days to my home. I mentioned that I want to verify my things at the airport and not to deliver to my house. But they "did deliver the luggage to my house" and when I opened my Cabin bag, I was very shocked to see that My expensive jewellery got stolen, expensive watches got stolen, my clothes, and some food items as well. I am totally lost and broken and filed a complaint at the local police station and they are in a process of verifying where it actually happened.

                      Please see attached documents for your reference. I wanted to express my unhappiness for flying with Air India for the first time and I am still in a deep state of shock for this service and unable to spend time with my family due to this incident which shook me mentally.

                      I kindly request you to please ..please.. look into this issue and help me because I lost my Mangalsutra as well which is very important for me.

                            HJGD2 is my PNR. The flight was from Jaipur to Bilaspur via Delhi. I boarded the Jaipur to Delhi Flight. And after landing at Delhi they tell that the flight has been delayed by 8 hours. After 2 hours they tell that the flight has been cancelled. Now I was left stranded at Delhi airport. Had they told me at Jaipur that the flight from Delhi to Bilaspur has been cancelled I wouldn't have boarded it. Its been more than 10 days and I haven't received my refund.

                            The flight cost was 14, 866 and I want the complete refund for the time lost and the mental agony I went through

                              Dear Team,

                              Recently I travelled in Air India flight from Chennai to Amsterdam. Ticket number for the same is E-TICKET NUMBER:[protected].

                              I faced bad behaviour from air India support team near checkin in Chennai while doing checkin of luggage. My hand luggage is excess as then the limit. I asked them support on it in buying extra luggage baggage as well as in other options to take extra luggage too. Instead of helping the passenger the Air India support team wasted 2 hrs my valuable time and they keep on asked to change luggage here and there and also even in buying extract luggage also they didn't helped me properly.

                              Almost they wasted more then 2 hours of my time and they made be lot of pressure and tensed in catching the flight. They provided my ticket when I left with only 10-15 mins of time to catch the flight. I really struggled to catch the flight because after luggage checkin the remaining things more time too.

                              I really spent lot money for travel and also spent money buying extra luggage but not expected bad service from Air India. I came to airport before 3 and half of hours my flight but due these all nonsense I catched flight just couple of minutes before to fly that with lot of struggles and challenges.

                              I want my struggle, physical and mental pressure on that time to be paid off.

                                I happened to visit the Air India office located in Kairtabad to enquire about my refund for the above PNR.

                                I was informed by madam Moshmi saying only partial refund was initiated(I still don’t see the money in my account yet). I expressed my concern to Moshmi madam saying I am eligible for full refund since my flights were cancelled due to Covid reasons. I was asked to compose another email and send it out and so I am writing this email.

                                I have requested Moshmi madam to double check if the flights were running on my travel dates, and she did look into your system and verified the flights were cancelled 100%.

                                Also, there was some charge of 13, 000 odd rupees per ticket which also need to be refunded. I would like to know what are those charges for and can they be refunded as well.

                                Kindly please issue the FULL refund as soon as possible.

                                  I had travelled from Mumbai to New Delhi on 27thFeb'22 and while collecting my luggage at New Delhi airport found the same damaged.

                                  Immediately i had lodged a complain at baggage counter of air india at T3 terminal of New Delhi. (receipt enclosed)

                                  I had immediately sent an email on 27thFeb'22 on the email id provided at the baggage counter and on the complaint slip.

                                  I got a refund of only 4038 Rs instead of 24372 Rs which was committed to me by your customer care guy .

                                  My PNR is HMYBP (Now in Cancelled Ticket status)
                                  My refund Reference number is WB DDEL[protected]

                                  When I booked my Tickets from Delhi to Surat in Nov on Nov 6 the terms and conditions said that you can cancel free of charge 4 days before travel.

                                  Customer Care Initially gave me Credit of 24 372 Rs for Open ticket and asked me to take refund from [protected]@airinida.in from where they only gave 4038 Rs .Even after mutliple follow ups they keep promising the amount but dont deliver.

                                  But now they charging 3000 cancellation charge is not ok I need my remaining amount of ticket as i cancelled many days before travelling and was confirmed and committed by your customercare
                                  Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
