Web Check-In Portal Out Of Service

On account of the server being down a few hours i.e. 3-4 hours before the flight was due, customer care numbers not being reachable and the inability to check in online, I missed my flight to Mumbai.       I booked a ticket from app happy easy go.. and it was very urgent as I had a patient alongwith me who was needed to be admitted in hospital. But the ticket got cancelled and I have not received my refund yet

        I had booked my ticket from Delhi to Patna for Tavel journey on 28th of May 2021.

        As Covid was at peak at that time my 1st leg of flight- international flights got canceled, I reached out to Airindia customer service and they said they will cancel my existing booking and will keep the ticket open so I can rebook it anytime by March’21.

        Since Aug, 24th I am trying to reach Air India who has 2 steps of call execution . On 1st step they take all information and says they they are transferring the call to e-Ticketing department and they will issue ticket. This never happens the calls gets disconnected abruptly or never gets transferred. The 1st line of agents os denying direct call no.

        We are internationally located and have no other access to Air India except their call Nos . I would like to lodge complaints against false promises and denial of service against AirIndia who is just refusing to refund or reissue my ticket

          I have cancelled my flight ticket on May 20th. I didn't get my refund yet.We have been following more than 6 months with air india customer care, everytime we are being asked to wait for few days.We are really disappointed with the service.Also we have dropped mail many times, yet we didn't received any reply from you. What should we do? Please advise in this matter

            Team Air India,

            This is to bring to your notice that I (Shelly Anand) along with my family (Munish Gupta and Aaranya Gupta) was travelling in Air India Flight no AI 121 dated 09.11.2021 flight timing 2.25 am for the destination Amsterdam with a halt at Frankfurt airport and onward journey to Amsterdam flight number LH0992 with my family members (flight tickets attached).

            I got my luggage back at Amsterdam airport. When I reached my hotel and tried to open the luggage, my luggage was badly damaged from inside (locks were broken internally, as shared in pics the lining of the baggage was also having clear marks of sharp tools used to open it forcefully) and few of new my clothes like jacket and sweater were missing. As they could not manage to break all locks and only from one side they could raise to get things out of luggage. Though the luggage on first appearance was looking fine and as I was travelling with 6 bags, rest of bags were not damaged.

            This was really very shocking and unacceptable to know how our luggage is being mishandled, damaged and stuff stolen by staff of such reputed airlines.

            I strongly want to convey that this needs to be addressed and resolved as soon as possible as I and my family have been deeply affected by this incident.

              Wheelchair service for Elderly passenger

              My Grandmother arrived to Delhi from Chicago on flight AI 126 on 10th November 2021. We had booked a business class ticket and wheelchair assistance for her as she is 88 years old. She was provided assistance from plane to the arrival gate and the wheelchair guy said he will get back but she waited for hours at the arrival gate and nobody assisted her.               I have booked my and family members Air Ticket on 09/03/2021 for the travel date of 04/06/2021. But due to COVID-19 situation, I was not able to travel on due date as same day flight was cancelled (Same was confirmed on call by costumer care representative). Also customer care representative informed me that same Air Ticket can be utilized within one year with no additional charges.
              I have been approaching the Air India since last 10 days for rescheduling my journey (as I have to utilize these tickets worth Rs. 10332/-) but no favorable response and proper guidance for availing the reschedule facility is obtained from Air India Customer Care officials.

              This all lead me in mental and physical stress leaving an impression that I will never travel with Air India because of poor response rendered by the Air India Customer Care officials.

              Now I request you to resolve the problem of rescheduling the journey or better refund the amount against the given Tickets Number:

                Due to travel ban which started on May4.My flight was canceled and I haven’t received the refund yet.

                  Respected Sir/Madam,

                  I have initially booked my ticket with Air India on 23 Feb 2021 for a round trip to India from Chicago (ORD) and traveled to India in April 2021, and my return ticket to the USA was on May 17, 2021, but was cancelled due to the US President travel ban from May 04, 2021. Then I have called Air India and got my ticket cancelled, and they said because of the travel ban, I am eligible for the refund and will be receiving it soon. But till now the refund was not issued, and they are ignoring my calls and not responding properly. I kindly request you to help me get the refund for the remaining amount I am entitled to (along with the extra seat amount I have paid them).

                    My Son had booked ticket for Mumbai-Newark vide PNR Number YB3YH.
                    As flight to US were not operational ticket was cancelled on 19th July 2021.
                    However till date we have not received for the same. Several mail were sent to [protected]@airindia.in but till date no response received.

                    Tried to call Air India call center, but put on hold for hours.

                    Would like to know, when the refund will be processed.

                      Hi, I am struggling to book a seat. I am not sure how to resolve my problem.

                      Whenever I call it takes very long time to connect. Call ends and goes to survey. I keep hearing beeps as if someone is disconnecting forcing call to bounce. I don't understand how my queue number goes from 3 to 13 to 45? It should go to 2 then 1. But goes other side...does some one mannuly control the queue? Can't understand how can air india do this...

                      'All our executive are busy' is all I hear everytime.

                      And if i manage to talk, I am told someone will call me from reservation team but I do not get call back.

                      This is happening since last 2 months. My return leg tickect has been postponed due to corona virus pendamic.

                      I cannot even manage my booking online. It says invalid when I try to search via pnr or ticket number. If you cannot assist atleast open my ticket so taht I can manage online. Search and try to book. This is terrible. On one hand you have blocked acces and on the other made difficultto get through to customer support...

                      Can i get any assistance from air india please? How should i book a seat?

                            This mail is regarding the domestic flight that I was supposed to take on the 14 th October 9:30am going Delhi-Guwahati (AI 889) where I could not take it because of delay with the airport RT-PCR test.
                            I arrived to the check in point at 8:50 am because there was no way I could arrive beforehand as I had an international flight from London prior which required me to get tested. The results took more than 4.5 hrs and then there was customs and baggage claim.

                            My problem is that Air India, since they did not allow me a to check in past 8:30 am, (which is their usual protocol to close check in before departure) and gave away my seats to accomodate other passengers, they should have atleast been flexible with the rebooking and refund . But on the other hand it was me who had to queue in line for another hour and pay for my newer flight (AI 891) at 4.15 pm the same day with approximately the same amount as was paid for the flight missed.

                            I sternly believe that as it was not the fault of the flier (myself) with missing the flight and due to delay with the PCR test arranged by the airport authority itself, there should be flexibility with accomodating me on the next flight or atleast a full refund of ?7890 for the flight missed . This is downright wrongful behavior which is not expected from a company like Air India and needs further investigation and justification.

                            Attached is the proof that I was there in the airport itself (refer to time and date of the rt pcr report). Also attached are the details of my missed flight newer flight.
                            I expect that this will be sorted and refunded as it is a huge amount of money for any hard working person that should not be lost specially during a time like the ongoing pandemic.

                                  Sir, I had requested to cancel my flight AI 983 on 15th may 2021, unfortunately I could not fly as all AIndia flights were suspended due to Pandemic.
