refund for unused paid seats

I purchased two extra leg space seats for traveling in economy class with my booking reference number ymw6d. However, i didn't use them as i upgraded the bom-ewr sector to business class.
So, can you please arrange to return the amount usd 116.80 paid for unused extra leg space seats?
I sent the original email to [protected]@airindia.in on 02/24/2020 requesting to return the amount usd 116.80 paid for two unused extra leg space...

I booked ticket with pnr - z3zlk for airinda flight by flipkart application.
Flight date was on 01st april'20.
This flight was cancelled by airlines & airlines wants to reschedule the amount of pnr for later date.
But i had a family function to attend which already took place & i dont have any other reasons to go to destination anymore.
I have repeatedly called airindia to give me full refund as i dont want to travel anymore, but airindia always declines with answer "you can reshedule for later date" & flikart never has an answer.

    I had booked an airline ticket for prince kumar jain (Email id - [protected]@gmail.com ; mobile - [protected]) from bangalore to surat, trip dated 15 march 2020. The flight was an air india flight ai-519 economy class. I had booked the same through ixigo.com.in ixigo.com, there was an option for taking an insurance policy which covered flight cancellation. Meaning i would get full refund from the partner insurer of ixigo.com (Which is liberty general insurance limited) in case of me cancelling ticket even if airlines has not refunded full amount to passenger. I had cancelled this flight on 13th march 8.30am. At that time i didn’t receive any mail from either ixigo.com or from air india wrt confirmation of cancellation, nor did i get any mail containing the cancelled ticket. I also did not get any money as refund from air india. I gave all my documents to liberty general insurance for claiming the full amount paid as refund as per their policy. However they have yet not processed my refund claim (From 13 march to date). They are asking me for proof of refund paid by air india to me. I have got tired by telling them that i have not yet received any amount as refund from air india, nor have i received any mail or the cancelled ticket either from air india or ixigo.com. When i called up ixigo.com, they told me that they will send a mail, but i didn’t receive any. They directed me to call up and mail air india, which i did. However no one responded to my mail from air india, nor is anyone from their customer service picking up my call. The only mail which i received after many days and begging done by me to ixigo.com, only indicated that yes the cancellation has been successful and refund is under process. However this mail was a generic mail which neither had the details of the passenger, nor of the flight, nor details of the ticket. When i provided this mail to liberty as a proof of refund, they are not accepting the same and have blocked my refund claim and are not further processing it. When i contacted liberty and told them of this issue, they are saying that it is not their problem and i am responsible for this and that i should get in touch with either ixigo.com or air india and get either proof that some amount has been refunded to my bank account, or the copy of cancelled ticket (Both of which i have not received till date even after a lot of requests). So in short liberty is rejecting my refund claim as i have no proof of refund, and both ixigo.com and air india are unwilling to give me any sort of proof of refund (I. E. Copy of cancelled ticket or a proper mail detailing confirmation of successful cancellation). My refund claim has been blocked for more than a month which is creating lot of cash flow problems for me in this lockdown.

        I booked tiket for 8 april 2020 pnr no is jf2hb from kolkata to imphal but that day air india cancelled flight. Due to this i requested many times for full refund but air india mail me for change date of journey but why i change date of journey because i postponed journey except 8 april 2020.
        So i request you please refund me full refund because i was not cancelled my tiket however flight was cancelled by air india so air india should refund full amount.

          On 07th September 2019 i had booked a ticket for three persons for flight AI491 scheduled for 11th December 2019 at 12:00 hrs. I was forced to cancel this ticket due to involuntary cancellation/rescheduling of this flight. I have not received the refund so far.

            I dr kunal parikh booked air india ticket-28th jan2020 e-ticket no[protected] from sydney to ahmedabad. As i cancelled my ticket in 20 minutes by calling back, talk to same customer service attendant. He assure me that refund will processed within seven days as refund is due to death in the family.
            After following up airindia by sending multiple emails, personally visited ahmedabad airindia office. I havn't got positive reply. And pass the buck over refund.

            As a front line worker, i work seven days a week, please at least acknowledge my request, do the right thing. Air india.

                I have booked the flight ticket (Airindia) pnr j1kz6 on apr 10 maa to del and return del to maa on april 15, due to covid 19 the flights are canceled by the airlines itself.

                The purpose of the booking was to attend my relative marriage, due to the current situation, it is hard to reach. I request you to refund the amount to my bank account as i am seriously in a big financial crisis. I have no plan and reschedule because the marriage gets over on the april month itself. And no point rescheduling.

                Please note i am running out of cash due to the current situation i lost my business. Please consider it as my humble request and process the refund as soon as possible.

                  As we know covid 19 is on the peak in india all the services have been shutdown. Indian railways are providing 100% refund on ticket cancellation upto 21 june,
                  So i want to know that does air india provide full refund on domestic ticket cancellation and upto which deadline?
                  This is not the request but you have to gave full refund of the cancellation or either we have to complatint with the government.

                    Its been more than 20 days since i am waiting for my refund against ticket number # [protected] (Pnr: z2h6r).

                    Air india failed to give me a confirm ticket from pnq to ixz on 6th march 2020. And finally suggested full refund on 5th march 2020. Since then i have been waiting for my money.

                    Because of this delay, i am liable to pay late fee and interest on my credit card.

                    Please initiate the refund as soon as possible with the appropriate penalty for my credit card payment.

                    This should have been resolved within appropriate time frame but due to your staff's negligence i had pay a penalty and degrade my credit score.

                    Please initiate the refund.

                      Had booked a tkt for my daughter on 19 mar from del to cjb. Rs 7612 was paid by net banking but the tkt was not generated. Had to again book a tkt on the same day and flight, which was successful. Hdfc ref number is[protected] dt 19 mar. Have sent complaints to mail id but no response. Please refund the amount of rs 7612 to my bank account immediately.

I major veeraj chandra was to travell from my home in pune to chandigarh by air india flight which was to depart from pune on 24 march at 2155 hours and land in delhi at 0005 hours of 25 march by ai854 followed by a connecting flight to chandigarh by ai443 at 0545 hours at 25 march 2020.

                        2.in view of the appeal by pm shri narendra modi to avoid unnecessary travel i cancelled the said ticket. Also as per directions of the civil aviation no flights will be operating from midnight of 24 march 2020.

                        3.in view of the above you are requested to refund in full the amount of rs 7030 as you cannot charge me for a cancelled flight.

                          I purchased two tickets from air india to travel in economy class with booking reference pnr ymw6d. I updated the bom - ewr sector to business class on jan 11, 2020, 24 hours before my journey by paying money in inr using the two links sent by air india customer service.
                          I was asked to pay twice inr 1, 91, 470.00 and inr 86, 010.00 for the update and i understand the second payment inr 86, 010.00, i made is duplicate and excess payment. I contacted the airlines' customer service on the same day and got the confirmation that the payment inr 86, 010.00 i made is, in fact, an excess payment. The airlines customer service promised me that the excess amount would be refunded within 24 hours. But nothing happened.
                          I sent the request for refund on feb 3, 2020, to [protected]@airindia.in and several reminders from hen on

                          No action is taken on this complaint. It appears my number is blocked
                          Air India contacted me through email the next day regarding this complaint asking me about my contact information. I provided the information and waiting for further contact from Air India and the resolution of my complaint soon.
                          I booked ticket from chennai to singapore for 22march. The amount was debited but ticket is not booked. Customer care numbers are unreachable or waiting in queue for hours with no result.

                            This is with reference to the return ticket refund which has been cancelled by air india on 28th dec 2019. I have been communicating with air india on the toll free number and it has been several times in last two months discussing the same matter of refund and also provided my mobile number. And still nothing has been done. The delay is meaningless and is subject to compensation with explanation. I have been told continously that the refund will be processed in 20 working days and there is no need to worry about it. But now i am worried about my refund and due to lack of credibility on behalf of air india.
                            The tickets dated 15th jan 2020 (Sfo to delhi) & 16th jan 2020 (Del to bdq) has been cancelled with full refund promised. So, please process the refund of ticket number[protected]. Locator/ control no : yjssr in my bank account. And frankly speaking air india doesnt seem to have the intention to refund the money with 50 % penalty due to the changes made by air india by cancelling the ticket. Because my return ticket will cost more being a single ticket and plus have to book it in sort time. And in todays crisis it is going to be very very expensive and uncertain to book a return ticket from any airlines (Bad experience with air india).

                              hi, After continously corresponding, emailing and following up with my travel agent. Atlast the travel agent has given me a receipt from Air india, stating they are giving me refund of 15538 rupees, which has shocked me of fraudulent behaviour of AIR INDIA. I have total paid Rupees 127, 950 / - on a ticket a return ticket in 2019. My agent billed me 120, 600/- rupees for a ticket which is vadodara to delhi & delhi to san francisco and then return from san francisco to delhi & delhi to vadodara. One side of the ticket is used by me and the return ticket was extended from 10 & 11 oct 2019 to 15 & 16 jan 2020 for that Air INDIA charged me 7350/ rupees. Air india send me a mail cancelling my delhi to vadodara ticket without my consent on 29th dec 2019, giving some reason. I called the Toll free customer service to ask about it on the same day i seen that email. The customer service told me that they can give me a ticket next day or day after. I told them to give me a ticket which is a connecting flight like the same for my ticket which is from SFO to DELHI on 15th jan 2020. They said there is no such connectivity available on the same day or day after. I asked them to make changes to my tickets so that there is connectivity of flights. Instead they told me that you better cancell the tickets and you will get full refund on my whole return ticket from SFO to DELHI & DELHI to VADODARA, they promised me 100 % refund in 20 business days. But instead the whole communication and correspondence have last for more then 2 years. Air India policy is to take charges or penalize the passenger if they make any changes of any kind to the iternairy ticket. And they done the same with my ticket and instead of paying me the full refund and the penalty as per there policy which also should be applied if they have cancell the ticket on there own without the consent of the passenger.
                              AIR INDIA instead of paying the refund for my ticket of 15th JAN 2020 & 16th Jan 2020 which was my return ticket with connecting flight which i had choosen. They are paying a Interest amount after taking 2 years to resolve my issue. Ecommerce Air india and customer service are just bunch of people who are there to book the tickets for air india online and other then that they just do the correspondence without any resolution to solve the problems of refund like mine. they are just there to buy some time to waste the time not to return the refund money. Just imagine i have totally paid 127, 950/ rupees for the TO & FRO ticket plus extension of ticket charges for which air India has charged money . And they are officially Paying me 15, 538/ rupees for the tickets they have cancelled without my consent plus they had no provision to give me a ticket which has a conveniency of connectivity to my home town.
                              I am certainly looking forward to handle these matter legally for the fraudulent behavior of operation.

                                This is in reference to the pnr z2h6r. A day before the final departure air india failed to provide me the booked flight and finally suggested a full refund.

                                Its been more than 20 days, i am calling on the customer care and dropping mails to their grievance. But nobody responds. The amount is more than 50k inr. And due to their lousy behavior, i am going to miss my credit card payment deadline, which will cause me penalties.

                                Please initiate the refund and asap.

                                "Your complaint has been forwarded to Air India Ltd. customer service. You should receive a reply from the company representatives within several days."

                                This doesn't help. I have my payment due date on 28th March. What do you mean by several day. Its already been 25 days since i am waiting for the money.

                                I want my money refund within 2 days from now.

                                  Three tickets of ai-9740 - guwahati to kolkata, departing guwahati at 16.45hrs were procured for 21.03.2020. The ticket fare included food also.                                     I booked a flight from pune to new delhi for march 20, 2020 but i want to get it rescheduled to a later date. I am trying to reach you people since 2 days but no one is responding to that even i sent an email too but no one responded to that as well. Today when they picked the call they said that we can't do anything now. It is not my fault that you people are unreachable to the customers... This is something which you people need to work on. So, please reschedule my flight to a later date. Don't play with our hard earned money... Why should i suffer or pay for your fault..

                                      I tried booking a ticket from new delhi to seoul for date 02 may. Although, while booking ticket, when i made payment on final step then my money amounting rs. 30108/- got deducted as per below transaction details.

                                      However, i didn't receive any mail about ticket booking. I tried contacting their customer care number which is always busy and summarily useless. I have also mailed them on their support mail ids but no response yet received.

                                      Therefore, kindly consider to help me to either get booking confirmation or my money refunded.

                                      Therefore, kindly consider to help me to either get booking confirmation or my money refunded.
