We a team of 5 members booked a flight to guwahati from bhopal it was a connection via delhi calcutta by air india and indigo. Due to the delay of air india we lost all other 2 flights and we got a terrible loss. As we were going for a work which has been cancelled now due to flight delay. We got the loss of rupees around 4.5 lakhs due to the single delay of flight. We asked the manager and he deny to help us, we have complete recorded video as proof and we are going to file a case against this in consumer court because we are unable to recover this loss.

    29th oct 2019 (Time around indian time 11 pm), i tried to book air india flight ticket ai843 (Goa-delhi) for 15th feb 2020 online from moscow, but after money deducted from card, i didnt get any confirmation page or mail for flight confirmation. Called customer care, she said to write to ecommerce mail. I mailed but still no reply yet! Please respond!

      I brig ak sood, booked s ticket from dehradun to lucknow for 17 november e ticket no[protected], on flight ai-9646 from ddn to delhi and ai431 from delhi to lucknow starting at 0745 and 1220 hours respectively. On morning of 17 nov when i reached airport at 0645, i realised flight was delayed to 1230 with no intimation what so ever. No staff was there till 0705 hours and no alternative arrangements were made. Finally a change in timing of lucknow flight to ai-811 was made which was to leave delhi at 1900 hours. I am stranded here in airport, having started from my house at 0530 hours and will reach lucknow at 2010 hours at airport and then one hour more. This has caused so much inconvenience and agony, with no concern from staff here. It is a hopeless situation, no facility for arrangments for breakfast for stranded passengers or any subsequent arrangements. It is requested and submitted that adequate arrangements should be made to inform passengers in time, and if not maje other arrangements for stranded passengers and also necessary compensation be made to such traumatized passengers

        Dear madam/sir,

        My name is rejo raj and my wife's name is thara george. We live in salzburg austria. We were on a vacation to our native place in kerala from 4th october to 4th november 2019. Sadly, we choose air india for our travel and we had a very bad experience with them.

        We were supposed to board the air india flight from kochi to vienna via delhi on 4th novemeber 2019. The kochi to delhi flight was air india flight ai511 supposed to fly at 10: am and the connecting flight from delhi to vienna was ai153 at 14:55 pm from delhi. The flight ai511 was cancelled and a alternative flight ai 466 was schedules on 4th november at 7:35.
        We received only one mail regarding the schedule change on 1st october 2019 in which the change was not highlighted and we happened to miss and not read this very important change, since the change was not clearly highlighted.
        On the evening of 3rd november when we tried to do a online check-in, it was not possible for us to do so due to some error in the air india website. On 4th november when we reached the kochi airport at 7:30 am, we were shocked to learn that the flight was rescheduled and we had lost the chance to board the rescheduled flight. Without loosing time we immediately booked the next available flight to delhi in order to not miss our connecting flight to vienna. The flight from kochi to delhi was vistara flight uk884 at 9:35 (Which was earlier than the initially planned air india 511 flight from kochi at 10 am)

        We reached the delhi airport at 12:55 and we were relieved to reach there on time so that we can catch our flight to vienna. We reached the air india checkin counter at 1:30 pm. Up on enquiring with the staff, we were informed that we could not board the flight without paying a penalty because we didn't board the first flight. We were not informed of any such penalty when we enquired about the same in the air india kochi airport. The penalty had to be paid at a different counter (Which had a very long queue). We told the airindia staff that we are very short of time and begged them to help us such that we can board the flight. The staff in delhi were very rude and not welcoming at all. The counter to pay fine had a long queue and by the time we got our chance, they informed that they could not accept the penalty because our boarding time is over and they would no longer allow us to get in the flight even if the penalty is paid.

        We feel there was enough time to board the flight, had the air india staff given support considering our situation. We feel one hour was more than enough to move from the check in counter to the boarding point of the airport had we been not neglected and give proper care and attention.

        We would like to raise the following questions

        A) why should we pay a penalty for the flight we already booked? We don't understand this at all? This was a just a connecting flight and why missing the first flight should affect on boarding the second one?

        B) is it not the responsibility of the staff in the check in counter to help the passengers so that they wont miss their flight?

        C) were we denied the entry to the flight to vienna because the airlines sold the ticket to somebody else and our seats were not available (Since we did not board the flight in kochi and they assummed we wouldn't be doing the same for the next one).

        D) why could not the air india staff in kochi airport warn us about this situation and helped us because in the kochi airport we had more than enough time to fix any penalty issues?

        Due to this, we had to face severe mental trauma. Moreover we had to book a new flight from delhi using turkish airlines. We are asking for a compensation for the flights that we had to rebook from delhi to munich newly.

            This is nusrat khan here, i received a call on behalf of airindia regarding job placement in accounts department, they took 1500rs as registration fee and further asking to pay more 7550.
            As i felt something fishy i wanted to clarify it so please look into it.

              On a recent london to new delhi flight on 6th nov, flight no ai 112, the inflight entertainment was not working. I was initially informed that this will start in 45 minutes. After every 1 hour these reassurance messages were given. Finally after waiting for 4 hours, i was informed that the system was faulty and this would be the case throughout the duration of the journey.

              I then approached the cabin crew for compensation. I was informed that they were not equipped to deal with this and i would have to contact customer service.

              In my previous experiences from various trips i have undertaken with a range of airlines, this issue has been compensated. I would like you to investigate this matter and provide compensation at the earliest.

              If you need any further details i am happy to provide these.

              Thanking you in anticipation of quick compensation.

                My flight was scheduled for departure on 5:50 Pm from Delhi airport from Mumbai on 3rd November 2019. I reached Airport around 4 and got to know my flight was delayed for 2 hours. I waited along with other passengers and after a wait of more than 5 hours they started boarding around 10:00 pm. After that they did not have any pilots to fly the plane and we sat in the same flight for almost 2 hours. The pilots came around 1:00 am, 4th November 2019 and I reached Mumbai Airport around 4:30. It was a horrendous experience. There was no support from the ground staff and no clarity from Air India about the delay. I would want complete refund of the ticket as I have experienced an delay of more than 10 hours which I did not sign up for.

                    To Air India,

                    I have been contacting Air India customer services for the last 3 days, and spoke to almost 10 to 12 staff. I want my fight from Chennai to singapore on the 12 Nov to be changed to 13 Nov.
                    Every time I get the same response that the rescheduling department will call me back, but dint receive any call. I been calling again and again, even looked for a manager in charge, they said there is no manager. I told them to transfer the call to the rescheduling department, but they said they cant

                    I have attached my ticket along with this mail.

                    I need an immediate action on this as my fight needs to be reschedule immediately.

                    And this kind of service is totally unacceptable.

                    Now the fare would have gone up, so is air india purposely delaying this, to make more money.??

                          I Nitin Jaiswal, attempted to book a ticket from Hyderabad to Bengaluru for 9th Nov 2019 for AI 515. The booking failed to happen for PNR J6V1F but money got deducted from my bank. Please refund my money deducted via Google pay of SBI for amount Rs 2627 as soon as possible. Proof of transaction is attached. This is the second time it has happened and they have not refunded my earlier refund of 15000 still.

                            As discussed with air india agent on there toll free number they are telling me to send an email for refund on there email id [protected]@airindia.in. I am sending a mail to them since 25th october but they are least bothered to reply me. Pathetic service pathetic people working there. And when i talk on there toll free number they just tell me that e-commerce people only can let me know my refund status.

                              I was supposed to travel by AIR INDIA flight at 5:05 A.M on 30 Oct 2019, Wednesday. When I reached Mumbai airport the AIR INDIA official told that the flight is down graded so there is no seat available. There were around 25 passengers whom they did not offer a seat. They also told that they can not give me any other flight as all the flights are booked.I asked them for compensation they said write a mail. I asked them for refund they said since you have booked through easemytrip they will process it. I asked them to give some letter stating the problem so that i can follow up in future. Today I received the refund of rs.950/- Actually i should get entire refund of rs. 3500. Because of them I had to stay one day in Mumbai and also had to take leave as I could not reach Goa. I work as a Professor in Goa. When I called AIRINDIA customer support they said as per our record you have traveled on 30th Oct. I told them its not true and I have that in writing given by AIRINDIA. So they asked me to call on [protected], Goa number. I tried calling on this number but no one is answering. .

                                Mohit sharma called and told that your sons selection has done for air india and you have to pay 12550 fee has taken money on devraj soam account total rs.35000/-, so checking on line fee paid rs. 12550/- the he asked more money on account of document verfification, insurance then we said we are not interested in job. After one month against he called and giving fake information

                                  We traveled from ord chicago to igi delhi on 29 sept 2019 vide e tickets[protected]c2 and[protected]c2. We reserved seat numbers 21j and 21 k on 28 sept and a sum of rs 1276/- was charged and paid. On 29 sept we reached the check in counter after standing in line for two and a half hours and were informed that these seats have been allotted to some other passengers and nothing can be done about it. We were then allotted seat numbers 31a and 31b. Seat 31b had a broken tray and a non functioning tv screen. Also, all the toilets on our side of the aircraft were choked and not usable. We are both senior or citizens and being made to stand in queues for over 2.5 hours. Getting cheated on seat bookings and travelling on shoddily maintained aircraft is not acceptable. Please refund rs1276 with damages.

                                    I reached the airport 3 hours before my schedules flight after standing in queue for 2 hours i was still behind few people. Only 2-3 counters were operating. Then they announced that people traveling to my destination come out to a different queue as its check in is about to close. When i reached the counter in that queue the person sitting there asked me to go to supervisor to get the boarding pass. The supervisor station was full of chaos, people who were denied there boarding passes were all shouting. I had to shout to get his attention but he listened and gave me a boarding pass just 30 mins before my flight that too without a gate number. I had to plead with security personnels to let me go first, ran like crazy with my carry on luggage to get to the gate number which i found on one of the information screens on time.

                                    There is no system at all for such a big carrier like air india, they are denying people boarding passes for no reason.
