[Resolved]  Air India — Huge harassment on the Airport by your team PNR JG91S associated ticket number[protected]

Dear Sir/madam,

Myself Charnjeet Singh, and I have travelled on 25th Sept. 2021 from India to Maldives with work permit through Air India flight PNR JG91S associated ticket number[protected].

The above ticket has been purchased by my company Ooredoo Maldives Ltd. on 20th Sept. 2021. Allowed check-in baggage with this ticket was one pcs 20 kg and cabin one pcs 7kg.

On 21st Sept. 2021. at 11.36 am I called on your customer care no. [protected] for to book/add check-in baggage. She asked me for my ticket no. and then she took time and told me yes you are eligible that you can pay in advance for extra check-in baggage in terms of per kg or in extra baggage. The same I have paid 5900/ INR in advance online at your site portal by select one pcs excess baggage. Receipt and ticket attached.

But when I traveled on 25th September with scheduled time accordingly, I have faced a huge harassment on the Airport by your team at boarding pass counter F with my excess one check in baggage. Your representative denied to accept the receipts of 5900/ INR which was generated at your site and said that you are not illegible to carry the excess one check in baggage for which I have paid in advance to your company portal.

Then I moved to your office help desk near gate 1. Here I’m again harassed as your helpdesk representative told me that there is some error and mistake in their system so this receipt is not valid, moreover there is no any other way except to pay additional 36270/ INR for my excess baggage by per kg weight. I’m shocked that suddenly how I can pay such amount at this situation.

That was totally harassment to me by yours staff. Just imagine the situation while you travel alone internationally and staff of the airlines not listen where there an issue in their own system. And I have moved here and there on the time of boarding pass check-in with my luggage on airport.

On this panic situation at that time I have arranged the money within my family circle to sudden payment of 36270/- As there was no way out left by your staff at that time.
Kindly go through my situation while I travelled through my own country Airlines and it have an error with their own system and nobody listening. Really it was very bad experience ever as I have travelled a lot with other countries airline.

My request you to please refund my all charges I have paid i.e. 5900+36270 = 42170/- to your airline as there was not my mistake it was your system Air India faults.
