Dear Sir/ Ma'am,
I booked Singapore to Bangalore (via Mumbai) flight tickets for April 19'26 departure, from male my trip portal on Feb, 6th, for 4 passengers including my 2 minor daughters.( Air india flight PNR-8UUND5)
After booking, immediately next day i realised a mistake that the initials in the name on the flight tickets is abbreviation form whereas on the passport it's elaborated ie instead of "chhavi Paritosh Mehta" on passport it's mentioned, " chhavi p Mehta ' similarly is the case in my second daughter's name.
Whn i requested the airline via customer syppythey refuse such changes citing the reason of booking being done on a 3rd party portal
..
I fail to understand, even though it's a3rd party portal, the booking is tegiyin the concerned airlines system in their books so how can they deny such minor corrections? Neither airline nor make my trip is helping me, as they conveniently put the blame on airline..
I request your intervention to help me sort out the issue, else I am at the risk of visa rejection which will cause me a loss of Rs 2 lacs on hotel and onward flight bookings which are non-refundable for me.
Kindly do the needful considering it's a minor human error which is not a significant challenge to edit especially considering the changes are required for minor passengers.
