Air India — Non availability of wheelchair at T3, New Delhi | |||
Complaint regarding non availability of wheelchair to mrs. Kamlesh modi at t – 3, new delhi Wheelchair request was made along with the booking of ticket (Scan copy attached). Please to note that on board attendant was requested for the availability of wheelchair, she said it will be available after getting down from the aircraft. Moreover the attendant was also asked the belt member on which the luggage was to be delivered. She said she do not know. Sorry to write after getting down the aircraft, wheelchair was not available. Any way since bus was very near, mrs. Kamlesh modi could manage to board the bus by walking. On arrival at the terminal, only one wheelchair was there which was for another ticket holder and not for us. We asked the wheelchair attendant about the wheelchair for mrs. Modi, he said would be coming, wait here. We waited at the arrival gate for around 20 minutes when nobody came i took risk of taking my wife very slowly to the nearest air india counter situated opposite to star buck coffee shop at the arrival. They tried for me and the chair was made available at 05.20 p. M. Inspite of the fact, the flight landed at 04.40 p. M. My wife mrs. Kamlesh modi is suffering from parkinson decease since last 10 to 12 years and can not stand and walk for long time. Only due to this i had to made a complaint to the duty manager mr. V. K. Chauhan who showed no courtesy instead handed over the book to write complaint and went away. I wrote the complaint and asked about the duty manager and came to know from mr. Manik another officer on duty that he is not available. Any way i got complaint signed from mr. Manik which is also scanned and attached. Kindly check my complaint and let me know what are you planning against this negligence and the compensation to me.in case of ignorance, i will have no option than to approach the court of law and justice.
