Air India — not providing the purchased seats

My self chandan mitra a retired ifs officer stationed at hyderabad had booked 8 seats 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f and 7e, 7f, for the air india flight ai 776 from bhubaneswar to hyderabad scheduled on 9th of december in favour of mrs aditi das, mrbinoy krishna das, mrs krishna das, mranshuman mitra, mrchandan mitra, mrs nandita mitra, mrsantosh sen and mrs smita sen respectively. The tickets were booked through credit card on3rd of september by paying an amount of ₹1378. Subsequently 2 seats were booked in the name of mr diptiman mitra and dibasha ray for the same flight. The seats were booked in advance to avoid any inconvenience as the passengers at serial no 1to 3 are senior citizens while diptiman mitra and dibasha ray got married on 8th of december and were coming back immediately after marriage. Mr binoy krishna das is 87 years old and mrs krishna das is 78 years old and now walking with support of a walking stick due to operation of a fractured leg.
To my utter surprise, the air india counter person at bhubaneswar allotted the seats 17 a, 20a, 6d, 7d, 4c, 4f, 8e, 8f, and 2 seats to senior most citizens at row no 28. The person at the counter informed that those seats for which i paid and booked have been allotted to others coming from kolkata and nothing could be done.in fact the seats were allocated in scattered manner inspite of booking the seats in same pnr.
This has caused immense inconvenience to me and my family members particularly to the aged and disabled aunt, apart from causing the financial loss to me. The air india may return me the paid amount apart from paying at least an amount of ₹50000/- for the mental agony i and my family members had undergone., within 7 days failing which i will approach the consumer forum for redressing my grievances.
