Air India — ticket cancelled due to flight delay refund raised but not yet paid | |
I had booked an airindia ticket from chandigarh to delhi (Ai464) on 24th dec. Eticket ref no[protected]c1 and pnr no zbqbk (Ai). Boarding pass was issued but there was no notification regarding the flight delay. Since i had an international flight to catch from delhi, i had no other option but to cancel this ticket and book another airline ticket (Last minute). Ticket cancellation request was accepted by the check in staff and told me that refund will be processed. However till date there is no refund.in addition to the above, i have sent 3 different emails to air india cust care and called them twice from my international number. Despite the schedule delay in flight departure, there was no advance notification by the airline and that resulted into lots of inconvenience, uncertainty and frustration among the passengers. Had i not booked another flight at the last minute, i would have definitely missed my international flight. From a customer point of view, this is a major customer dissatisfaction point.
