I have purchased an Aircel GSM connection (Mobile no. +[protected] on 30 April 2014 in order to use the 3G promo code received with SnapDeal purchase and activated the pack on the same day. However, since then I am getting data transfer speed less than 10 KBPS while I have adequate data balance & validity. This is happening irrespective of my geographic location i.e happening everywhere - I have tested the speed when at home, at office, on road everywhere. Even the GPS signal is lost frequently. This has been escalated to customer care so many times and I have also emailed them several times - I am just getting complaint no.s one after another and they keep on asking for details of the problem while I feel being cheated as a consumer. They are just giving 1X speed and marketing that as a 3G pack - Can you imagine data transfer speed @ less than 10 KBPS over 3G ?!?! They are simply fooling innocent customers and harassing them in the name of 3G service. Refer attached screenshot of the data I have been capturing. The 'GPRS' speed (red rows) is extremely slow while the same handset is giving good speed over WiFi (I have personal broadband) i.e. the green rows. Was this information helpful? | |||
