I had Airtel data sim # [protected]
I stopped using this number before one and half month, so I ordered for the cancellation of this number in a Airtel showroom, but I did not get any document / receipt regarding the cancellation.
Later in May I got a call from customer care telling that I was charged Rs 780, and told me that I need to pay Rs 780 for the next 2 months even if I am not using the number so I told them that I am not going to pay.
Later on 04-June-2014 I got a call back from customer care asking for the payment of Rs 780, this time I told them that if they conform me that this number will be cancelled and no more billing will be done for this number then I am ready to pay the Rs 780, but they are told they are not going to cancel and not going to assure me that no more billing will be done.
And today 05-June-2014 one more bill of Rs 780 has been sent to me so now the total bill on the number is Rs 1, 560.68.
So I called customer care 121 and they told me that they cant provide me any information on the data plan
I am still ready to pay Rs 780 (1st bill amount) if airtel cancels this number and assure me that no more billing will be done for this number.
