I have been a postpaid customer of airtel for over a decade. I always have an official number with international roaming and a personal number in which international number was never activated.
Last month when i went to usa, the international roaming as per new airtel policy is automatically activated, and i have been levied 648 rupees day pack on every day - as there were some marketing calls that came in or marketing sms
I have verified from airtel care that there is no international roaming request activation from me via internet or phone or service request. Airtel claims these are activated by default and it is my problem not to remove the sim.
