I have recently ported to Airtel prepaid from Jio prepaid. On the night of 30th July 2022, my Jio sim got deactivated, so I inserted the new Airtel SIM in my phone. However, the new SIM did not show mobile network. I thought, it might be because I would have to recharge first. So, I recharged with the Rs. 719 plan and it shows that the plan is a active in the Airtel Android app. However, the mobile network still didn't show. So, I restarted the phone several times, checked mobile network settings in the phone & came to the conclusion that the new Airtel SIM is not activated yet.
So, now I am without my number & I can't reach anyone. This is highly unacceptable.
I demand that this issue be resolved at the earliest.
