Iam an Airtel customer for almost 18 years now and now regretting the same.
I had taken an Airtel DTH connection with a deposit of Rs 1500, while opting for the connection i was told that after an year the Set-up box is free and would get my refund amount back after cancellation.
I decided to change my provider and after raised a request for disconnection after a year and half o[censored]sing. Below are few pointers Airtel disconnection team has mentioned over the call-
1) When requested for refund amount, now they are saying I need to use 360 monthly dth plan, where as I was using 350 monthly plan. We were not even told about this while opting for new connection..
2) They cannot confirm anything via email nor they cannot Cannot transfer the call to the higher authorities.
