[Resolved]  Airtel — Taking more than a month to Porting my number [protected] from Vodafone to Airtel

I requested for MNP from vodafone to airtel on 4th Sept 2014 which had a expiration date as 20th Sept with the number VX and I submitted all my documents on the same day to airtel retailer but the processing started on 17th Sept and they raised a request to Vodafone for porting and which was cancelled on 20th since the Porting number VX got expired on 20th Sept. Pretty Reasonable explanation for me !! Ok fine with that thinking there might have some problem from my side or with the some documents as the address verification and all was done by 5th Sept only. However, I raised one more request for porting with the number VX595876 on 22nd Sept 2014 with the expiration date of 7th October. Everything went properly this time and on 25th Sept 2014 the porting was approved by vodafone and they stopped connection on 26th Sept and the problem have started now. Airtel asked me address proof and photos on 26th Sept and gave me new SIM for that they took 100 Rs as well. Fine with me. The Real problem starts here now. Since 26th September night till so far no connection on my SIM and I am completely out of connection from my family and friends. I have called 10 times this customer care(121) from my friends airtel number and explaining all these things(Mind you my Jaws are still in pain explaining and asking them to resolve it ASAP) and only thing i hear "Sir, Please Wait for one hour/half an hour, you will get a signal on your mobile for that SIM and then Call 59059 and verify it" Whole day on 27th Sept i have looked in my mobile for the signal( For me it is stupid thing but what to do only thing i can do). Atleast i can get the explanation saying that exact reason why this is taking a long time. I am also an IT engineer and know such technical stuffs by myself. Guys, Please help me here otherwise i know how i can go beyond this level. I still have 90 days of time from backing out and going back to vodafone. I thought airtel are best in services but the way they have handled, i am scared now. I will write this mail to TRAI pulling Vodafone and Airtel, both of them.
