AJ Interlinks — Refund of the Amount

I had signed an agreement with AJ Groups Private Limited and did not utilise the same for 6 months. I would like to cancel the agreement and now they are saying that the amount is not refundable.

I am still stuck and hopefully get it cancelled. But act fast or else you are doomed!!!

i am also facing the same problem.pls tell me how to get my money back.

I received a call saying, that I was selected in a draw and inform us that they have won a 5 star hotel holiday and that they have to come to their office to collect it. Once we reach the Bangalore office they explain a holiday plan and force us into buying those plans. Unfortunately we had signed an agreement with AJ Groups Private Limited for a holiday plan Initially I have paid the amount of INR 15000 out of 345000 INR on dated 24th Jan 2010 and they requested me to pay the remaining amount as an installment amount basis for every month. After which we realized that we not able to manage 345000 INR I called up on Monday to cancel the deal & refund the amount.

But the AJ Groups Private Limited concern person is not taking my phone & not revert on the mail .I had sent the mail on 25 th, 26th 27th & 28th Jan. Kindly help on this I would like to cancel the agreement and get my money back.

Even i was cheated, we shall file a case against this guys. i asked for refund, but they tell that it cant be refund for 2 years.

I had a similar experience. I've filled in some contest (on Aug 15-independence day promotion)at INOX, after which I received a call saying, that I was selected in a draw, followed by another 2 dozen calls asking me to collect the gift voucher. Once we reach the Royapettah office, they explain a holiday plan and force us into buying those plans. Unfortunately my husband purchased a holiday plan after which we realised that their Manager is one ridicule piece, and he was totally impolite. Worst of all we were given all wrong information and false pretences abt the holiday plan. When we called their Call centre to clarify, they were utterly rude as well. Eventually I have ended up fighting for a refund. An extremely unpleasent experience. I strongly recommend people not to fall into their trap.

At 3pm on[protected].I received a phone call from AJ interlinks private limited.I was told that i had a won a package tour of three days and four nights at any convenient date among the mysterious three tour packages(which i did not care to check).I was excited .this is the first time i am winning a lucky draw.I was asked to bring a couple to collect the coupon.(I felt strange!!!)But when i enquired the sponsors and googled to see tour packages, i was brought straight to this blog...Damn..those guys were about to Screw me and my time.A nice patient lady in phone made it sound so convincing that i almost took their crap...Thanks for the post...one line of advice for those people in AJ interlinks.

I recieved a same kind of call from this company and they said that i've won a free trip gift vouchers and asked me to visit there office. I realised these people are playing some prank and just ignored them but i recieved a dozen of each and every day... So i thought of chking there website, thank god i went through this forum... after seeing this forum i called that company and informed them that i'm not interested and disconnected the call. The very next day the same company exe called up my land line and they spoke to my mom and they convinced her to visit their office with my dad... I was not aware of this... my mom xcame back from that office and said that these are just fraud and fooling around with people.. they yhave forced my mom to get a holiday plan.. my mom refused for that.. they have abused her didnt give any gift voucher... I called those buggers and screwed them they simply disconnect the call... These buggers should be sued for these kinds of activities... Government should take neccesary action on them...

even i had gone thru the same... the person on other end tried convincing me and askd me to come on saturday afternoon.i tld i cnt make it and they told me to come on tuesday evening... i was before my PC and jst googled AJ interlink pvt ltd... luckily i found this blog. i jst read out one of the the post to that gal and she became mum. the call was handed over to another guy.. i tld the same think and askd for his manager. he tld that bugger is not at his place.. i blasted them and tld them will sue is they try my number again. govt should seriously take necessary actions against them. We also received call from this same company called AJ Interlinks and were told about this gift voucher. We went today to their Abhiramapuram office. On arrival we were given presentation on their their timeshare membership which was for Rs 128, 000 and get 1 week tour every year in their exotic resorts tied up by them. At the end we were asked to either accept or reject the offer. My husband was nuetral and wanted some time to think about this. Hence, we cordially rejected the offer that was given to us. They also accepted it professionally and gave us the gift vouchers that were promised to us. We have not yet used those gift vouchers hence cannot comment if the vouchers are valid or invalid, but can say that the Abhiramapuram staff were professional in their approach.

I received the same call today ha ha i was so suspicious and my instinct proved to be rite.And guys dont be scared am gng to that place tmr But to gv dem a piece of wat they gave to others. am gng wid close to 20 of my frens lets c wat their manager can abuse trust me guys i can be even more worse .Il make sure that next time they think twice before calling people and disturbing them.

Should say, that lady luck has actually favoured me this time not by making me win the lucky draw but by opening my eyes to these forums and alerting me in time..
These guys at AJ, need to really change the script used for the calls they make.
The same opening sales phrase, the same offerings, the same exaggeration, the same convincing female voice... When all who have experienced such calls from AJ interlinks always have the same story to share, we know who's side we have to take.

Today we went to AJ interlinks PVT lmt, Chennai since they called us 5 times a day.But unfortunately i have not googled about this and trapped in their net. Fortunately i have commited anything before them but i wasted my time. They explained about the holiday plan and promised to collect a kichen set.But they have not done this yet.

The offer is like Member ship price is Rs 42000 for 5 years validity.

Each year we can spend 7 days in luxirious hotels across holiday spots such as Goa, otty...ETC,

But they treated politely and after finishing the presentation i said simply NO...

My sincere advice to the people is not go there and simply waste their time.

thanks for posting all your experiences. I got the call just now. I did commit that I would come down to their office. I know 'there is nothing like a free lunch'. But my husband convinced me. The next minute I google AJ INTERLINKS PVT LTD and what do I find ??? Their next call came and I rejected their offer and put the phone down.

A.J Interlinks is cheating the people by fake calls and all the above experiance shared by fellow mates are true. they are using dadagiri to sell the package. the pamplet given by them even does not contain any word"RCI" so beware of such cheaters and if possible file police compaliants and drag them to court of law.

I got a call yesterday (29.12.2009) afternoon about this fruad organisation. They called me that your lucky coupen that you have filled in a shopping mall had own a prize, one kitchen set & one holiday voucher. Then told me to come with ur spouse to collect at their Bangalore office which is in Jaya Nagar at 1730 hrs. I went there with my wife, then they had started brain washing both o[censored]s in a very cool manner. We also saw some 10 more couples were also come for this brain washing session.
One girl named Ayesha had started talkibg with us too much but she was aware a little about all the plan to trap us. So her Boss one fat lady who belongs to Andaman Islands startd brain washing. They started with yearly membership of 60000, 100000, 200000, 2500000 for different trips. But I had some experience about the Club Mahindra holidays before hence I strongly rejected their wishes & come home with a 50 rupees of kitchen set. Then they told that you think & told ur answer by today (30.12.2009) about purchasing of this plan.

These guys are really fruad & cheaters. Never fall in their trap.

i was bit confusing as i have clearly mentioned that im a batchelor even though they asked me to bring a couple or girl friend which was little weird..!!!
so i thought of googling regarding it and saw ur post..
happy that im aware of this now..else i would have been one of their prey..!!

I too just got a call - same kind of offers as everyone else.
Strangely, they called my wife's number. Not sure how they got that .. as it is i who usually fills out the form, and she was clueless, as to when.
To which they replied it was done about 6-7 months back.
It sounds very familiar - as i read through these threads.

Came to the Internet to check out AJ Interlinks and here we are - all exposed.
What these guys think they are doing?
AT best, there are gullible people out there, who wants to benefit more than what they pay for!
And as long as that mentality remains etched in our memory, i think these kind of pranksters will continue to play their cards sensibly.
So, let's awake citizens - let's not be proud of getting something, which we don't deserve.
Usually, privileges comes with a price. IF WE ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE, THEN LET'S NOT GRUMBLE.

I got excited as I got a call from this AJ interlinks as it was told me that I'v won the gift voucher. Accordingly I promised to visit their office on this sunday(14th Feb'10). They shown me their holiday membership plan and asked to take membership which costs 1.50 lacs which shocked me. While entering it self I mentally prepared to not take any kind membership or investments. When I said no to the plan 1.50 lacs, they came down to 0.78 lacs plan, for that also I said NO. And further the plan came down to 10k. Just these peoples want to extract some money from me. Finally I said even I don't want their free holiday coupons. Unfortunately one sunday evening wasted for me

I am a fool who joined the aj interlink Bangalore and now i am suffering. They promissed me that whatever the money i payed by creditcard that will be converted to 24 emi, but finally they make that as 12 months and now they are not taking any phone call. Also they told that the emi will be started from third months, but the emi stared from this month. I am now in a big trouble and they are not responding. Please never ever join this kind of club...

I too have the same scenario today. A lady phoned me from A.J. Interlinks, Jayangar, Bangalore, to inform that I have been selected in the lucky draw for having visited shopping malls. I remember, I filled a contact form long ago when I visited one of the shopping malls in Bangalore. She invited me to attend their prize distribution programme in the evening on the same day, with either my wife or relatives. She kept phoning me repeatedly.

Ought to curiosity, I refered to Google for information. I clicked the first link popped up by Google, only to find a bunch of complaints about A.J. So, I decided tell them on face about what they are doing.

Thanks for the info guys!. I also got a call yesterday - March 24, 2010 and I asked a few questions and the answers were very dicy and vague. I became very suspicious when he was insisiting that myself and my wife should come personally to collect the gift. Also the guy on the phone was saying that we should spend 45 minutes and listen to their presenatation!!!

I got a call and was asked to attend on the same day, which I did, along with my wife. It was after going there that I came back and visited this site. I patiently let them complete their sales pitch. They were courteous but really irritating asking stupid questions in an attempt to look charming and helpful. In the end I said ‘NO’ and that I shall contact them back if required. They said their offer was only for today and whether I can make a down payment now. I said a flat NO and that if I am gonna miss this ‘today only’ offer, so be it. They said they would courier the free gift home and gave me a holiday package for 3 days at their own resort location, for which a maintenance fee of about 3k needs to be paid within a month. It was a total waste of time. What angers me is that when I was told that I have to attend a presentation I asked them whether this is regarding a some holiday time share thingy, to which they said NO. That’s pure fraud!
I urge ALL of you to not become members and plan your holidays one at a time, by yourself, with total flexilibility, as these days you can do everything online. Their annual maintenance and one time membership is all nonsense. Put your money in some mutual fund and when it matures after three years take it and go for a holiday abroad!

I became a member & got cheated. i paid 50, 000, and now when i ask for holiday reservation, i got no response from them. I asked for refund, they say it can only be refunded after 2 years.

Their customer support is the worst, they cant even speak proper english. They tell that they dont have info, so they shld ask manager, when asked to connect the call to manager, they say manager is not available.
Even after calling 100 times, there is no proper response.

Need to do something about this ppl.. Alone cant do much, as they are just careless. we need to make up a gang of people & raise complaints against this company in court.

All the experiences that had been mentioned about the aj interlinks is true. I also had a similar experience of this kind. I don't know why these kind of fraud companies exist. They should be thrown in the jail. These kind of fraud companies exist in main cities like chennai as lots of people might fall as victims easily.

hi i had call today saying that got selected, gift and holiday package. everything is absoluty free. though i said i am not married, told me to come with boyfriend. but before i start went through all these compliants. thank God i am safe. why actions are not taking against them by lost people?

I recovered my money after strict follow up. I literally have to behave like a rowdy to recover that. It took almost 6 months to recover the same. Spending couple of weekend following them. I only paid 12000 that may be another reason for them to return the money.The money I gave was given by credit card in six EMI's.
Go when they are luring other people specially on saturday and sunday evening. Make a havoc shout on them, They will promise return of money in 1 month or so keep patience take ur time and follow strictly you will get it back.

I too have the same scenario today. A lady phoned me from A.J. Interlinks, Royapetta, Chennai to inform that I have been selected in the lucky draw for having visited shopping malls. I remember, I filled a contact form long ago when I visited one of the shopping malls in Chennai. She invited me to attend their prize distribution programme in the evening on the same day, with either my wife or relatives.

Ought to curiosity, I refered to Google for information. I clicked the first link popped up by Google, only to find a bunch of complaints about A.J.

I'm sorry to have fallen in their so called "lucky customer". A lady from AJ interlink, chennai rang me and checked with me if i had filled any forms in any of the shopping malls some two months back. I remember I filled a couple of forms at citi center and big bazaar. She informed me that i have won two gift vouchers, one is some crap kitchenware, another a holiday pack. The min she told me abt the gift voucher i got very suspicious and stopped showing interest. She also asked me to come in the evening to collect the gift vouchers at their office and she told me that the voucher is free of cost. I asked her if this is some kind of promotional event or stuff like dat, for that she replied me its not on that line.

She also asked me to bring ma GF. I totally got freaked out and asked her why i need to bring my GF when i individually won the so called gift vouchers. For that she responded that the holiday gift vouchers will be released only when couples signs it. I dont find a logic behind this... rather i dont want to derive anything for this scam. She suggested me to send some of my relatives who are couples, just in case if i am not able to make it. She also gave me their office address, which i wrote it on air and she said she'll remind me some two hours before the event.

Like the rest here, i too googled. After reading all the reviews, which says exactly what i was thinking, here i am writing about this scam.

I too got a call from aj interlinks, myself and my husband went to attend it. after hearing their plans my husband was not satisfied and said NO to them. when we returned back to our bike we found it to be punctured. it is their work only. then at that night around 9 pm my husband left me to stand near the bike and went in search of mechanic shop. it was an unforgettable day for us. for that 40rs gift we spent 700rs. so its my kind advice not to go that aj interlinks.

guys, who ever goggling will get benefit, but when I went there, i see 3 couples trapped into their net .But at that time i was not aware of this fraud.but strongly rejected the offer. They said gift will send to home through courier,

AJ Interlink is very interesting company. You should thank them. Here's why...

* They have a strong database of phone numbers. Sometimes you wonder how they got your number when you haven't even used it or made it public yet. This shows that Airtel and other service providers are known to sell their phone databases on the sly, and it is your fault that you are addicted to mobile phone.
* Americans are particular about their privacy, and will never release their personal info easily. We should learn from them, and we thank AJ Interlink for reminding us how easily our privacy and peace of mind can be violated.
* AJ Interlink are pioneers. When famous branded holiday vendors can behave irregularly using fancy propaganda, why not small-time operators with cheap propaganda? Other unscrupulous people have studied and started copying the patent-pending "AJ fraud" methods. Maybe AJ Interlink can start a correspondence course for thugs. Starting fee will be 1lakh per month, and you will get a holiday package free, especially if you can prove you are a good goonda by joining their gang.
* AJ Interlink pays well. Their employees are well-trained, they use the same script, they always call up in same way and have similar voices, and they don't have any problems listening to abuses and will still keep calling you again and again. If any of you are desperate for job and have a think skin, then AJ is a good choice to make quick money. That is, if you don't mind being abused and considered as a goonda. Even high-profile BPO call center employees get abused all the time. That is how the marketing world works - you are either a sucker (victim) or suckerer (perpetrator) or lucky (not yet victim, till your luck and common sense holds).
* Police are very good and useful, but only if you are corrupt enough to grease their palms. They take bribes from AJ Interlink and turn a blind eye to their activities. Please note that AJ Interlink is rich enough to have offices in multiple cities, and you don't see them changing their office location frequently, do you? And yet there are so many people complaining of fraud, and definitely few o[censored]s will have registered an FIR with police also. Even then police has not taken any action (do you see any response notification from the police or govt. in any of these forums, or do you see these fraud calls stopping?). All this shows that police is deliberately ignoring this fraud due to bribes. If any of you know the Commissioner or influential politicians, can't you use that influence to stop these activities? Maybe even the politicians get kickbacks from AJ, and hence AJ are protected.
* AJ will make you feel sorry that you ever signed up some random form in some shopping mall which you visit only rarely. Anyone who thinks that big shopping malls value their customers, should realise that they allow companies like AJ Interlink within their premises with full permission (maybe AJ Interlink pay them well, after stealing our money). If you want the situation to improve, everyone should call up the shopping mall authorities so that they will be forced to ban such unscrupulous vendors from entering their elite premises. If you can google for AJ, you can certainly google for your favorite shopping mall contact numbers. Even if you don't remember where you signed the form, call all the shopping malls you visit and make a quick complaint. At least we can prevent other people from falling prey. Half an hour wasted in lodging formal complaint with shopping mall or police, is better than answering frequent fraud calls and shouting back at them. Remember, people fill up forms only in shopping malls and exhibitions. I am sure you will never fill up a form if someone stops you while you are walking down a street or shopping in Pondy Bazaar or MG Road. So why should there be a different mindset in a shopping mall? Signing a form in a posh shopping mall in a/c ambience does not mean genuine freebies. If you are still curious, ask them to email you the details instead of giving your number. Give them a throwaway email id (@mailinator.com). If they are really genuine operators, they will send you the catalogue by email with pricing details.
* If you want the AJ and other crank calls to stop, blacklist/screen them in your phone. Here are phone numbers I have for AJ Interlink Chennai:[protected],[protected]. Please share their other numbers you have. We can make our own blacklist database to force them to keep changing their numbers frequently!

I am able to get hold of all these details and putting it here under a fictitious name/email, just because I get too many crank calls from AJ (I have started screening their number using my nokia phone - see contact details menu in your phone to blacklist the incoming number). Whereas those of you who really became victim are still revealing further info to AJ on this site.

Consumercomplaints.in will not take any action on your behalf, remember that. It is just an easy medium to reach the authorities of the company/service you are complaining about.

Why are so many of you using your real names while lodging the complaints here? If AJ notices your name, they will harass you further. Never ever reveal your true identity or real email to anyone, unless it is something very secure and safe. If you do want to do something real, file a consumer case. It will not cost more than 10k in total, and will be very very less if you all victims shared the costs. All the best, and Happy New Year 2011.

One very disturbing trend about this AJ Interlink is that not only can they cheat you, they can also hurt you physically!!!

Any company which employs goondas and suspicious females should be avoided. Someone on this forum said the manager abused them when they refused the package. Someone said their bike tyre was deliberately punctured and they were stranded at late night, just because they said NO. This is really disturbing to hear. It is not just fraud, it is really extremely criminal behavior.

Be safe please. No holiday package is worth risking your life and valuables. And crank calls and junk sms happen all the time, India still doesn't have any proper telemarketing regulations enforcement. So don't bother too much about AJ calls, just disconnect and blacklist their number on your phone (talk to knowledgeable friends if you don't know how to blacklist).

I won't be bothered even to post these things usually, but I am really shocked to see the extent to which such fraud is happening openly in heart of major city (I won't even mention my city here). Just want to help spread the awareness. Either ignore and don't fall victim, or if you are already victim, then don't sit silent and take legal action with help of other victims. That is my sincere advice to you all.

I received a call from A J few time back, obviously i was excited, they sms me the address and requested me to go there tomorrow by 1:00 pm along with my spouse, since i am new in this city i wanted to search the address on google and luckily I found this blog and read all the comments you guys posted. Just 10 minutes back I got a call from AJ interlinks. Thanks a lot, you people saved my time.

I am latest victim. Got duped by 68K with false promises.

They are ready to pay me back the amount in 10 installments of 6800 each after running after them for 2 months and they talk in a manner that they are doiing favour to me by allowing to cancell the package since the terms and conditions mentions a non-refundable.

So, the company takes your money and returns that in 10 installments.

Please suggest (email - sumit.[protected]@gmail.com) if i should take legal action against them or should i just accept the 10 installments? So far i have not accepted the 10 installment cheques and have asked them to give 68K + interest loss suffered.

NOTE: Do not go if they call you. If you happen to go, do not sign the Terms and Conditions page otherwise a nightmare will start...

I strongly argree above feedback, thease are cheaters. Today i got a call saying that " you got a kicthen ware coupan and 1 week holiday coupan free of cost. He told that he will send the address and call back after 30 mins. in between discuss with your wife. I asked i can't come tomorrow as i have work. He (Sajath) told that you won't get gift couple, if not tomorrow.

Then some how i searched in google and found this site + i went thruogh Aj sites and no info.

In between i got a call about confirmation. So i told the situatation and my wife won't come as she is in sick. That waste fellow advice me come up with Girl Friend. Then i have rejected the offer .. Let see. Waiting for other calls ...

I have got my money back, i shall tell you what you have to do, just go to their office and talk to the sr person ask for refund they will tell you all the rules just come out go to near by police station ( Abiramipuram police station-100mtrs only) and give a complain like they have cheated me by collecting so and so amount ., ., .,

You will surely get ur money with intrest

One more news that the chennai branch is closeing in a weeks time so make sure u go before that (i heared that all the staff are run away from the company)

We too were fortunate enough to get a call from AJ interlinks. I think, its great time that they change their mode of approach. Still they are hung up with the same old stories of lucky winners from shopping malls winning kitchenware & holidays.
They have given us reminder calls and we clearly told them that we dont want to attend the meeting after going throu these wonderful feed-backs form their so-called fortunate customers.
What happens next is a question... But, if they call us again we wud also be their in the line of all those who have got pissed up of their ever-ending thrive to lighten human days with heavenly holidays.

This is fraudlant company. Dont go & loose ur money & ur mental peace. Till they take money from u, they will act nice, once u paid the money, they dont turn urside... All the things they do r false promise.

I also tricky way chited by a.J.Interlinks, I became member of a. J. Last 1year & 10 months before, as per them, if not using any privilage, money will be returned after two years . But yestarday I visited to jaynagar branch, they have vacant the office. I lost my 1.25 lak. We should go together to consumer court or police complain in bangalore & chennai.
