I ordered a t-shirt on September 4th [Order ID FN[protected]] and payment for that was instantaneously debited from my card account.
I received an email on September 6th stating:
"We are sorry that we had to cancel the item(s) in your AJIO order due to unavoidable circumstances at our dispatch centre.
We will initiate a refund amount to your source account. The amount will reflect in your account by Wed, 14 Sep, 2022."
When the refund amount was not credited to my account by Wed Sep 14th as assured by AJIO, I emailed them about the refund status. In reply, I received an AUTOMATED message the same day stating, inexplicably:
"We understand when you say that you want to cancel your order. At AJIO, you can only cancel an order when it is in confirmed status. Follow these simple steps to cancel the order:..."
I am still waiting for receiving the refund amount. This experience has left a bitter aftertaste and I will have serious doubts ordering anything again from AJIO or recommending AJIO to my family and friends. I had not expected AJIO, a Reliance brand, to be following such fraudulent practices. Was this information helpful? |
