[Resolved]  Ajio.com — Refusal to provide refund

I ordered a denim jacket on Wednesday 18 August 2021(Order # FL[protected]). The jacket arrived on Friday 27th of August 2021. I initiated a return for the jacket as it was of poor quality and got an email that it would be picked up on that same day. A delivery executive picked up the jacket the status of the order in my Ajio app kept on stating that the order is out for pick up.I contacted Ajio customer care the following day to find out the status of my refund. The executive clearly showed ignorance over the issue and asked for the contact details of the delivery executive.I was then told the issue was escalated.I made a call today 29.08.21 to customer care as a follow-up to the issue and I was informed the jacket was in Chennai but my refund would be issued after 7 to 9 working days.

Herein lies the issue. On the Ajio app, the status of the jacket still reflects that the jacket is out for pickup. Secondly, in accordance with the T/Cs of Ajio, the refund is supposed to be issued as soon as the jacket is collected.

Sir let me bring one more thing to your attention. This is my first time ordering from Ajio and I did so in good faith even though I had read some harrowing tales and horrific experiences faced by customers who order on Ajio.I decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt in that regard.

I am totally frustrated that I have to expand an insurmountable amount of energy just to get my refund. Clearly when comparing to other online companies such as Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra the contrast resembles that of day and night. With these aforementioned companies, the minute your product is picked up you will get your refund. Clearly, I must have misplaced my trust when I ordered from Ajio.

With all due respect, I would like you to make sure that I get my refund immediately.I am beyond frustrated and clearly believe that after my second order which is in transit I will never ever order from your company again. This is beyond incompetence least to mention ineptitude.

Hi,
I had purchased a product from AJIO but the size was small hence requested for a bigger size through app, the exchange request was accepted but the delivery time was showing high so i tried purchasing same product which was showing quicker delivery time, i tried calling customer service number from 31st oct- 2-Nov but kept on waiting on IVR and was not able to speak to anyone so that i could cancel the exchange request and instead return the small sized product, dince i had already bought new one from AJIO itself. Lastly when the wxchanged product was delivered I returned it since i had alreadt got the same product and using it.
To my dismay i was intimated that the product i had returned is nom-ajio product, i am trying to make them understand that it is the same product that i have received with tags and even the same package and bill, how can it be a non-ajio product. No body is there to understand this.
