Amazon.in — Refusal to refund money against defective mobile | |||||
I had ordered a moto g 5 phone as a gift for my son on 4 june 2017. The phone arrived on 10 june 2017 (Order #[protected]. At the onset itself we found that the speakers of the phone were not working, so i filed for a return. After numerous calls to the customer care, they suggested i do a smart check on the phone. I asked them to send in the technician. When the technician finally arrived on 14 june he concluded that the phone needed to returned. When i contacted the customer for the 'nth' number of time they asked me to mail the report given by him on [protected]@amazon.in. I received no response from them, so i called them up again and then the so called returns and refunds department representative tells me that the phone i bought for rs. 11999/- was not eligible for refund or exchange but could only be replaced by the same model. When i insisted i needed a refund, he said no one in whole of amazon could give me a refund for the product and that i would have to take a replacement only. This is a fraudulent way of adopted by amazon which is forcing faulty products on the customers. Attaching below the review filed by the technician. Was this information helpful? | |||||
