Amazon India — Account locked and money deducted after ordering iphone | |||||
I ordered an iPhone 7 gold 128 gb on 11th May order number[protected]. Instead of receiving a confirmation email i received an email from [protected]@amazon.in requesting- -- A copy of my statement for MASTERCARD ending in 92, including the billing address -- Your name, phone number, and the email address registered to your Amazon account on a secure fax line given in a link http://www.amazon.in/help/addressverification. The number is[protected]. I called customer service five times every time to hear the same response that someone will get back to me within 24 hours. When i try to fax the requested documents from Australia (as i placed the order from Australia for my partner to receive it in India) and India it says please check the number/number invalid. An amount of AUD 1082.53 has been deducted with me being stuck in the middle of nowhere. Customer care doesn't help and account has been locked. Either dispatch the product or give my money back.
