I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Amazon.in regarding the delivery of a wrong product against my order (Order ID:[protected] which was delivered on 24th August 2025.
The product I received does not match the model number or serial number as stated on the invoice provided by Amazon. This is a serious discrepancy, as not only have I received the incorrect item, but this mismatch also jeopardizes any future warranty claims, rendering the product essentially useless to me.
Despite the return option being clearly available on the product page, Amazon has refused to accept the return and is not initiating a refund. I have been contacting their customer care service on their toll-free number[protected] daily since 24th August 2025, but there has been no resolution. Each interaction ends with a vague promise or no concrete action at all.
This experience has caused me considerable inconvenience, financial loss, and distress. I trusted Amazon.in as a reliable online marketplace, but this case reflects a serious lapse in service quality and ethical business conduct.
I request you to:
1. Take immediate action to investigate this matter,
2. Ensure that Amazon.in either picks up the incorrect product and processes a full refund, or
3. Replace it with the correct product as per the invoice and order details,
4. Prevent such practices in the future where customers are left helpless even when return/refund options are supposedly available.
Please consider this as a formal complaint and take the necessary steps to ensure my rights as a consumer are protected.
