Amazon India — concern over the defective product. | |
Hi, This is in reference to the below product i purchased on amazon which was delivered on 28th dec, 2019. (Hikvision ultra hd 5mp cameras combo kit 8ch hd dvr+ 8 bullet cameras +2tb hard disc+ wire roll +supply & all required connectors) We called the technicians to come and setup the cctv on 29th dec, 2019 paying an additional ₹3000. They finished setting up the 5 cameras, wiring for all the cameras. However, while setting up the turbo hd dvr, it was noticed that the hard disk which came along with the combo was not getting recognized and it is defective. The technician tried with their hard disk to check and it worked fine. Now when i reached out to amazon customer service they are just stuck with 2 options. Either remove everything which is already setup and send it back to them for a completely replacement or refund and can’t replace the hard disc alone which is defective. They are not logically understanding the fact the it is not possible to remove all the wiring which is setup with clip nails for the individual connections to the 5 cameras. I want the hard disc to be replaced immediately. Please provide me a solution which is other than removing all the cameras and wiring. I cannot spend another ₹3000 to remove all the wiring and the cameras and again spend another ₹3000 for putting back the wiring and cameras.
