Amazon India — Delivery boy cancelled order without my consent

1) I purchased a mobile in Amazon during Amazon Great Indian Festival on[protected]. That was the time when I got some discount on MRP. I have availed exchange policy too.

2) During the day of delivery, delivery boy (very rude) rejected the exchange and he cancelled my order. Mean while I was ready to pay through cash the difference amount of exchange. Delivery boy said that he has lot of orders to deliver and he inadvertently cancelled my order and so he cannot accept cash. He has cancelled my order without my consent. He made a false promise that he will deliver the same item in the evening once the cancellation request is rejected and gets updated in the website.

3) After one day, I contacted Amazon customer care and said about the incident. One of their senior executives has promised me on call which is on record that it was the mistake of delivery boy and re-attempt will be made by[protected] i.e., by Saturday). I also chatted on the same day with Ankush (Amazon chat service) and he also said that re-attempt will be made and asked me to wait till then. Screen shot of the chat is attached herewith for your reference.

4) Till Saturday, no action has been taken and when I called on[protected]i.e., on Sunday ), amazon customer care executives are saying that order got cancelled and refund is initiated. They even giving me free advice to reorder the same.

5) I purchased the item during Amazon Great Indian Festival for discount. Now if I purchase, I have to pay extra money for the same as discount period is over. For no fault of me, my order got cancelled without my consent. When I am asking for proper justification for cancellation, amazon customer care executives says that it was the mistake of delivery boy and exchange verification failed. If I am ready to pay the difference amount (as per your exchange policy), why did you cancel without my consent. When I was asking for justification for cancellation, customer care executives have disconnected my call.

6) Delivery boy has cancelled the order without my consent. Senior customer care executive of Amazon has made false commitment of re-attempt of delivery on call which is recorded. They wasted my time as well as money. I felt cheated, my motive went down, and I felt mentally tortured with their false commitments. I want my mobile phone to get delivered at the same amount when I purchased during Discount period.
