Amazon India — endless contacting amazon 're a return for refund and getting lied to by every customer service advisor i contact

I bought a tv through amazon india. The tv according to the installer was not as sold or advertised.. It was supposed to be a fully smart tv though the installer said the tv contained no software to enable it to be smart... I requested a return through amazon. This request was submitted on 16th of october 2017.. And everyday since amazon representatives have said the tv would be collected by fedex i've even had labels excetra sent to me, four times they said they would collect even have me a time for collection, four times after the tv was not collected i personally phoned fedex to find out why, four times fedex told me that only the label and tracking numbers had been generated and not an actual collection of collection number, they cannot collect without one regardless of a label and tracking number being generated... Every day since the 16th of october i have been in contact with amazon advisors, every day they have told me the parcel will be collected by fedex, when fedex don't arrive i phone them to ask why they say the same thing every time they can't without amazon's authorization... Amazon keep telling me they authorise it... They are lying according to fedex, every day amazon has told me they have escalated the issue and the tv will be collected tomorrow, tomorrow comes and again no collection we are talking 24, 000 rupees value here, it may not be alo t to some but it is an awful lot to me. Fedex say amazon do it to all their customers they issue a return label and tracking number, but don't actually raise a collection number with fedex... I have also lost 10, 000 rupees in loss of ends due to waiting home afternoon after afternoon for the pick up amazon has promised will happen, i am 34, 000 rupees out of pocket have a tv that does not function and am no nearer to getting the tv collectec...
I was advised tonight by an amazon advisor to try to get the tv returned at my own expense and that an would then refund me the cost, i tried to arrange this with fedex though they refused saying amazon would not accept the return, in fact every courier i contacted in the area said the same thing... I just want this useless tv returned and a full refund... And though amazon pretend to be advising and helpful they do nothing... Their advisors don't understand english properly even though they offer english speaking advisors and they definitely don't understand the written word... Otherwise my issue would have been truly resolved by now...
They refuse to give me a refund until the television is returned though are not even trying to collect the tv fedex can back me up on that one... I just don't know what to do it where to turn...
Please help and advise me accordingly

Again today more lies and false advice from amazon.in...they told me they had rearranged a collection for my return for tomorrow, however I have just telephoned FEDEX their courier and NO PICK UP HAD BEEN SCHEDULED...I shall be ending all purchases from amazon...they do not care about their customers or their products...I'm one of the lucky ones, I have full insurance through my credit card so will get my full money back, though other customers dont...how the he'll do they cope with Amazon's incompetence...it's a loose loose loose situation...none of their customer service agents even investigate the problems we have as customers they don't even try they just lie lie lie all the time...

Something seriously has to be done about this company...but I'm done with them, I have outstanding orders, bought and paid for and get to be delivered, I shall wait for them to be fulfilled then end my use of Amazon...another customer they've lost...though they really and truly DON'T CARE.
