I’m writing this complaint against Amazon India for the worst service.
I had placed an order for a sofa on 20th May 2025.
The product was purchased using Amazon Pay Later.
The problems started after I cancelled the order before even the EMI date:
1. Despite cancelling early, Amazon delayed the pickupof the item and only picked it up on 10th June 2025, nearly 3 weeks after the order date. I had to personally call and remind them to collect the item.
2. Even after cancellation, my first EMI was debited from my bank account on 5th June 2025. I had already called Amazon support that day and was told the full refund would be done.
3. After the pickup, Amazon claimed they had refunded the full amount to Axio. But I received amount which is short/cut for no reason.
4. I have contacted both Amazon and Axio multiple times. Amazon keeps passing the blame to the lender, and Axio deducted interest on a loan that was never used, which is completely wrong and unfair.
In short:
- Order placed: 20 May 2025
- Cancelled: 21 May
- Product pickup: 10 June 2025
- EMI deducted on 5th june
- Refund received was missing few amount.
- Multiple follow-ups with no resolution from either side
I demand a full refund of the EMI deducted.
This kind of treatment from a giant like Amazon is unacceptable.
