Amazon India — Failed to process promised refund of 4, 799

Respected Authority,
I am filing this complaint against Amazon India for failing to honor a written refund commitment.
Issue Summary:
I purchased a Tommy Hilfiger bag in March 2023 at a discounted price of ₹2, 699 (Order ID:[protected].
The bag had a manufacturing defect, and Amazon approved the return.
Amazon Representative Saranya K assured me in writing that if I placed a new order for the same bag (₹4, 799) (Order ID:[protected], I would receive a full refund of ₹4, 799 after delivery.
I followed all instructions and successfully received the new order, but Amazon has not processed my refund despite multiple follow-ups.
Every time I contact customer service, a new agent is assigned, and I have to repeat the entire issue with no resolution.
My Request:
I demand the immediate processing of my ₹4, 799 refund, as per the written commitment made by Amazon. If this issue is not resolved within 7 days, I will escalate this matter legally through the Consumer Court and other legal channels.
I have attached email proof of Amazon’s refund promise for verification. I expect a swift resolution to avoid further legal action.
