Amazon India — Failure to provide the desired product | |||||
Amazon left me amazed. I had placed an order (No.[protected] with amazon on 08.10.2016 for “Sujata Powermatic 810 Juicer Mixer Grunder (with 2 jars)” paying Rs.43000/- online instantly. I was shocked to receive a message (e-mail) from Amazon on 18.10.2016 stating as given below:- This is to inform you that your order[protected] was cancelled as the seller DEVTA ELECTRICALS failed to confirm the shipment. I could not understand as to why was my order accepted while Amazon had a seller who cancelled/rejected my order and FAILED TO CONFIRM THE SHIPMENT – on what ground? Why had amazon, such a renowned online shopping retailer, kept a seller listed who denies to ship an order like this. This is enough to leave a customer shockingly surprised and no one could understand the denial on such a ground. If the seller was not in a position to deliver the desired item, then the seller should not show its availability and accept payment against the same. People would certainly get discouraged upon knowing this. I would never again shop with Amazon any more after this experience. I had now ordered the same product with another online store.
