Amazon India — False Delivery, Deficiency in Service & Claim for Compensation

I wish to lodge a formal consumer complaint against Amazon India for deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and false delivery confirmation.

The above-mentioned order was wrongfully marked as “Delivered” by Amazon’s delivery personnel. I categorically state that no product was delivered to me, nor was it received by any authorized person at my address.

Despite the order being shown as delivered, the product remains undelivered. This false confirmation has caused me financial loss, mental harassment, inconvenience, and loss of time in repeatedly following up for resolution. Such conduct reflects gross negligence and failure of delivery verification and accountability mechanisms by Amazon India.

This act amounts to:
1. Deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act
2. Misrepresentation of service fulfillment
3. Negligence by service provider and its agent

I respectfully request the Hon’ble Consumer Grievance Authority to kindly intervene and direct Amazon India to:
1. Immediately refund the full amount or arrange redelivery without delay
2. Provide a written explanation for the false delivery confirmation
3. Take corrective and disciplinary action against the responsible delivery personnel
4. Pay reasonable compensation of ₹5, 000 for mental harassment, inconvenience, and loss of time caused due to this incident
5. Ensure adequate corrective measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents

I am prepared to submit all relevant supporting documents, including order details and communication records, as required.

Kindly take necessary action in the interest of consumer rights and justice.
