Amazon India — fraud & carelessness amazon india oneplus 7: order#[protected] | |||
Avinash j, vivek, aakash p, pranesh, prajwal, viraj (Amazon escalation dept.) Day 1: aug 11, 2019 – order #[protected] I paid for red oneplus7 (8gb, 256gb) on amazon app. As per the promise by amazon, the product was suppose to be delivered by aug 14, 2019. Aug 13, 2019: I never received the product on aug 14, 2019, instead got the status updated on the app as that "i rejected the delivery" whereas the delivery was never attempted, i called the amazon customer service, i was told that the delivery was attempted but i rejected, when i confronted the customer service associate, he said that it was a mistake at amazon delivery vendor and the product was damaged and so the product was not delivered to me. The customer service guy said we will refund the amount paid. I agreed to the refund but the refund was not processed till next day (Aug 15, 2019). Aug 14, 2019 (Day3) – replacement order# : I called customer service amazon, as per the associate he said that they have sent the replacement for my order. (First information misinformed to me). I agreed to the replacement of the order because the first order was never delivered. Aug 16, 2019 (Day4) – the product didn’t get delivered I called customer service to inform that i haven’t received the product, the manager told me that the product has been sent to a different courier vendor instead of the one near my vicinity (Sector56, gurugram). I requested to check if the name on the invoice was the same as requested in the first order, it was missed in the replacement order, so i had to request for a cancellation as the amazon associate couldn’t update the name as i requested in the invoice for the replacement order. Aug 17, 2019 (Day5) – refund not initiated by amazon I called customer service as the order status in my amazon app started showing that the refund of rs.100.00 is initiated but no mention of rs.31, 399 which i paid for the phone online. Spoke with the associate who informed me that the refund for rs.31, 399 is not possible because they don’t’ have authority to refund for more than rs.30, 000 (Hahahahaha). Aug 18, 2019 (Day6) – refund not initiated by amazon Spoke with associate called viraj, who again started the story by telling me that the order was rejected by me, it was very frustrating that every time i called, i had to repeat myself with the entire story of my misery and pathetic experience of amazon india. It seems there is no account of all the telephonic conversations i have had in last 5 days with the customer service team of amazon india. After talking to viraj, to my surprise he informed me that he is working in amazon escalation department and assured me that the refund will be initiated in 2 hours. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded to me…. Please someone help me look in to this, it is humiliating and frustrating to follow up for my own money where i have not used any product or services from amazon.in Was this information helpful? | |||
