[Resolved]  Amazon India — I have not received the refund

Myself is anand hogade. On 08.10.2019, i had placed an order for study table for boys. It was delivered on 16.10.2019. Immediately after opening, it was noticed that the product delivered was damaged and accordingly returned the same. However, till today, i have not received refund of my amount paid on delivery. We have perused the complaint received from Mr. Anand Hogade ("Complainant") and find that he had been facing problems with his recent purchase of Prima Wooden Study Table Desk and Chair Set for Boys and Girls (Green) Set of - 1 ("Product") vide Order ID:[protected] from the independent third party seller, i.e., on the website: www.amazon.in ("Website") and has requested for refund of the amount paid.
It is submitted that a refund for a value of Rs.2, 899 as requested and required by him was processed into his bank account on 16th October, 2019 vide refund reference number[protected].
In case, the Complainant has not received the refund in the original mode of payment selected while placing the order, he/she is requested to kindly contact the customer care department of the concerned bank.
The refund has been made from the nodal account managed by the designated bank as per the RBI circular dated 24.11.2009 on operation of nodal account: https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Mode=0&Id=5379.
Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of an intermediary and we are not the seller/manufacturer of the products listed on our Website. The products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers.
In view of the above, the issue stands closed.
