Amazon India — Issue related to my refund

"I placed an order on Amazon India on July 8, 2025, and made the payment through UPI. The courier company responsible for delivering my package was DTDC. On July 18th and 19th, I received an SMS from the courier company stating that my package had arrived in my city and would be delivered by the end of the day. I was fine with it, but at the end of the day, there was no call, no SMS, and nothing. I waited for a few days, and after almost 5 days, on the 22nd, I called Amazon customer care. They said my order would be delivered by the end of the day, which was just a test of my patience. I said okay, fine, and waited to see what would happen. However, there was no response on the same day. When I called the courier company, they told me that they had tried to deliver my package four times, but I didn't pick up the call. This was not possible; they were literally lying. The company then asked if I would like to try for redelivery, and I agreed. Since I didn't want to risk it again, the very next day, I went to the nearby office of the courier company. To my surprise, they told me that my order had been sent back to the sender just the previous night. I had requested redelivery, and the next morning, I heard this news. After this, I called Amazon to cancel my order and process my refund. The first time, they asked me to wait until August 2nd, which I did. However, there was no response, and I called them six times with the same reply: wait for a few days. Today, it's almost August 20th, and I still haven't received my refund. The cost of my package was ₹1503, and the refund should have been completed within a month. It's been almost 41 days now. The last time I called them, they said they would initiate my refund by the 16th, but it's the 20th today. I'm fed up with them. Now, I want a total compensation of ₹2000 from Amazon. They said they would solve this in a few days, but students like me have to wait for so long." I had manage the money from other sources as i needed the refund asap also had to pay extra so is why I am asking for extra 500 Rs compensation along with my refund amount
