I purchased the HP Victus laptop (i7, RTX 3050) from Amazon India on 13th July 2025
At the time of purchase, Amazon prominently displayed a banner stating that I could redeem a HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Headset for ₹499 (whose actual cost around 11k mention on hp website) through HP's official redemption process, post-delivery. The image clearly promised this offer as part of the "Victus 3050A - Student Edition."
However, when I attempted to redeem the offer through HP’s official process, my claim was **rejected**, and I was informed that **this offer does not apply to purchases made on Amazon**.
This is extremely misleading because:
- The promotional banner was shown on Amazon’s own product page.
- No disclaimer was visible stating the offer was not valid on Amazon purchases.
- The banner is **still live** on the product page even today (screenshot attached).
Amazon's customer support acknowledged the issue but refused to provide a resolution.
I request:
1. Fulfillment of the HyperX headset redemption offer as advertised.
**OR**
2. Equivalent compensation for the denied benefit.
This falls under misleading advertising and unfair trade practices, and I am requesting prompt action to resolve this issue.
