Amazon India — No care what-so-ever | |
I placed an order on 31 aug 20. The order consisted of essential items. They were supposed to be delivered on Sept 4-5. I received a mail on Sept 4 saying that the delivery was cancelled because the contact could not be made. I understand the part where contact could not me made but what I don't understand is, is how can you just cancel essential food items without another attempt or warning. We have been eating restaurant food from a few days and waiting for the items to arrive because they aren't available in our neighbourhood. And all of a sudden the items are cancelled and the customer service guy says to reorder and to take his word that it won't happen again. Are you serious? Your expecting us to eat atleast 4 more days from outside just because your delivery agent or network didn't work?Who do you think we are? The Ambani's??? Funny thing is, from last 4-5 times the delivery agent never contacted me and just showed up on my doorstep. How the hell did he know the address without calling me? And the last delivery was essentials too and yet he delivered without contact. I could have reordered if it was just some other item eg-electronics, clothing, etc. But essentials seriously??? I hope you people don't trust them because I will never again shop on Amazon. The category Essentials/ Pantry is just a category title for them and holds no extra care or value.
